I've been doing this for more than 10 years, the only differences are: i don't use a power drill, and when i break the extra string off, instead of using wire cutters, i just bend it back ands forth until it breaks off, no burrs
Ever time i change my guitar strings i always get a big scratch because of the E string but i can still change the string with the scratch in my palm????
I only just restringed two off my guitars, and only wrapped the string around once. Its fully tuned up, just doesnt hold that for more than a day.

Just wind your strings like normal folks. Pros dont do this.
I dont know why people are making fun of his way of doing it, but i want to say this really helped me when i first time changed my guitar strings.
