Hard to support a product by a company that calls itself sonicake.
Rob, I use the even simplier (and cheaper) Yeur version for home practice. Sticking one of the Joyo/Harley Benton American Sound pedal in front really opens up the sound.
No mic input? Shame be handy for lightweight busking
How's the Bluetooth audio bass response? Most suck compwred to dedicated Bluetooth speakers in that size (soundcore motion mini)
Active pc speakers work just as good if you're desperate!
Mine must be defective, the drums are so quite (even when turned up to full volume) you cant hear the drums when playing your guitar, the guitar volumes completley drowns out the drums.
If it was £30-ish OK, but £90???
I like Sonicake stuff, good sounding useable budget gear, normally…….
I just don’t get these plastic desktop amps ????????♂️ Why fill it with features, effects and such then put it all in a crappy cheap plastic box with the worst speakers possible? Just buy something small and well built like a Boss, line 6 or a baby VOX. Just wasting money.
To be fair, it SOUNDS like a toaster. Ha. Cool idea but it’s like plugging a guitar into an old hifi. That ‘metal sound 6 minutes in is soooo rubbish’. Peeps, just get yourselves a Boss Katana second hand or a Line 6 Spider 30 watt which is what I have. Throw a Boss SD-1 infront of it and you’ll be happier with it! Gotta say though, the clean sounds are okay and the effects are nice. But, cleans are easy, even an old keyboard amp provides nice cleans. ❤
