Thanks for the great tutorial. When I long press the pedal to clear the recording, it replays for a few seconds before it clears! Any tips to get rid of that?? Thanks!
Gracias.
I may buy one!
Dude, I need to include you in my will. I have the Jam Man Solo XT and I could not figure out why it kept recording my solos after I hit the pedal to stop recording and just playback. The RDP feature is nowhere in the manuals and no one else has mentioned it. I can't tell you what a relief tjhis is. Thank you for being so thorough.
Can it be synced with Beatbuddy via midi?
So that said the boss R-3 seem to be doing the a better job or Ami missing something?
I need to spend a couple of hours with mine that I also have in sync with SDRUM…
Thanks for a wonderful lesson.
I was getting frustrated with the pedal freezing when trying to use tempo. I was unable to find help anywhere else. Thanks for going through all the modes. With your help, I was able to make the thing work!
Thank You
Nice. Thanks!
what a great job you 've done to light my bulb! many thanks!
I am a beginner and brought the Jamman solo hc and you have helped me to get a start on my looper.
When I try to store I get a dF and it doesn't store???
I’ve had this pedal for years. I spent about an hour butchering stuff. Thanks for this video. I’m going to pull it out the drawer and give it another try now that I know how it is suppose to work .
Nice to know what it can do but it's not helpful with demos
The fad option is confusing.
Without demonstration, I can't do it along with other options
I can't get the light to blink.
You answered so many questions that so many other videos did not address, you have saved so much frustration. The red light on the store button showing you your track has not been stored yet, GOLDEN!!! Thank you!!!
Thank you
I bought this pedal a year or 2 ago and I liked it at first, but then I realized a huge problem. When I record a guitar riff on this pedal, and then play my recording so that I can play along with it, you can't even hear the recording. When I'm playing my guitar at the exact same time this pedal is playing one of my recordings, it sounds like crap. Either me playing my guitar gets mudded out, or the recording gets mudded out. Its horrible. I wouldn't recommend this pedal to anyone.
Well described.
Thanks for figuring it out
Recently got one used and the overdub is way too quite compared to the loop, anyone have troubleshooting tips?
What’s the best live looper?
this is a great video that has helped me a lot. Thank you.
Very clear and well presented tutorial, I have just bought this looper and the fs3x foot pedal, still waiting for them both to be delivered, this was a very interesting insight, I will no doubt replay your vid over and over, once again thanks.. ????
I've got one. yeah it's basic but….It can be complex too
Yours is the Best tutorial I've seen, Consice and useful, THX!!
How long it can record on a single track?
I bought this pedal because I thought it would be cool to store loops in an sd card. Man this thing is a pain in the ass to use, I mean just a hassle.
thank you
This was great ,..nice & informative. (You do realize tho’ you had an annoying rhythm track running, out of sync during your explanations right?..) But that commented on,..still was a good job at showing us users the ropes on the JamMan! It is still a fine looper even today! ✨???? Got one peeve tho’…It’s really hard to tell just “where” the beginning of a long,..let’s say 16bar loop comes back around!! (Trust me,..I get that accurate on my sessions☝????) I’ve got a number of different Loopers and quite proficient on them to go “Live” and enjoy the JamMan on an Acoustic set. What’s your best advice on just how to achieve a clean “distinctive” 1st measure of an intended Loop attempt? I use the SDrum Pedal as well in “JamSync” with the JamMan and pre-record the SDrum too,..so I need to figure out how to identify the beginning to proceed with the Loop creation! This can be a real pain when one is doing an Acoustic Percussion base track first!! (-_- !)> What’s your take of this issue Reid?? ???? Dig your reviews!! b(‘ _<) ✨????????
Great tutorial / review. Very easy to understand and extremely informative. Thank you!
External foot switch is essential with Jamman solo XT no midi either
Can you get the original soundtracks back once you have cleared them? Cuz I believe that they had a bass track on it?
Better than the RC3?
Can you use the foot pedal to scroll through patterns, verse/chorus/bridge etc. You showed using the up/down buttons. Thanks great demo!!
I've got one of these and am trying to wrap my head around how to use it compared to my ditto X4. I got this with the hopes that I can pre-record some acoustic rythm tracks at the house to use in songs that have solos… mainly those songs with solos that have underlying chord progressions that aren't anywhere earlier in the song (sweet child of mine is an example).
But if I'm wanting to record on the fly to use a part later but not have the loop immediately play back after I finish recording it, am I understanding correctly that I would need to record my part like normal and then TRIPLE tap the pedal to store that loop and remain quiet while I continue to play and then single tap the pedal again to begin playing my loop back while I play over it?
I'm not interested in over-dubbing anything at all. I basically just need this pedal to function as my rhythm guitar player while I play lead parts.
Edit: I grabbed it second hand and I think that it will probably be just a stop gap solution until TC releases their Ditto+
