Compare rosewood with rosewood or maple with maple. Clean first then overdrive then position with position at least the three ones. The title does not make sense

I've long-preferred the Tele
It's mainly a looks thing but also, when I've played a Tele it's just felt right and good for me

Same quality it’s a tone style but you put ether in Jeff becks hands and have it sound like Jeff tone comes from the way you attack more than gear
I like how the strat sounds and hate how it plays and the opposite for the tele. So I got a les paul.

The middle position a Tele is as unique as two and four on the Strat and is used on tons of country.
I think we can all agree that the main issue with a strat is the thin #1 bridge. 2 through 5 are great.

The telecaster is the perfect guitar. Everything else is just a marketing scheme to sell crap.
buy both, its like having two essential paint brushes in your sonic tool kit
The Telecaster is my first love, the Stratocaster is my new love. It did take me close to a year to finally get used to my Strat. It was instant familiarity with the Tele.

Tele and sg both are best
It’s very simple. The Tele was a fantastic first attempt at building an industrialised solid body guitar but then Leo Fender got it perfect with the Strat. Sure there are a few unique things you can do with a Tele’s spanking tone but the Strat is way more versatile
I’m fortunate enough to have them both, and in a fire.. I’d grab the Tele and wouldn’t think twice.

Obviously there are some incredible Strat players, but the ones I love are slathered in effects – Gilmour and Hendrix, but the Tele is more ballsy, dry and ROCKIN'!!

Both are necessary to your arsenal.
Neither is better, just different. Different tools for different tasks.
The strat is more comfortable to play and more versatile.
If I have to have only one I’m going Tele.
i just pick the coolest looking one that i can afford, then just use a multi effect pedal

Both are unique just like a Jazzmaster and Mustang or Jaguar.
Here’s how I look at it:
If you already have a guitar with humbuckers, get a Strat
If you don’t have a guitar with humbuckers, get a tele
