i own a Friedman BE Deluxe and this amp by any chance sound like a Brown Eye. Now, the amp sounds really good. Much more METAL than a regular Brown eye !. For $500 is a bang for the buck. Soon I'l be ordering some amps from this company. ????

Why does everything have to just be a cheap knock off of something? This whole model just harms the people who actually innovate and invent the things we love and rewards people who leech of these originators by undercutting them. I think in 10 years, we'll all look at back with horror that this was the norm.
Kinda a balsy move flagrantly using the name "Brown Eye". I guess Dave didn't trademark it.

The amp is more than capable to deliver thick tones, we heard that. But how does it work with fuzz pedals? I have tested the DSL20H with some "generic" fuzzes and it was kinda underwhelming. Looking forward to see your take on the topic with a Swollen Pickle, a Rat or the SF300.

Oof great video. Yeah when you put it neck and neck against a DSL20h thats just wild haha, smokes it. Lead Gain chan sounding great on that ????????????. Im sure with a bit of pedal pushing it would go next level as well.
Having that 5153, it's a great live/tracking amp bc it's so mid forward..but that makes it really stark, cold, and clanky like you're failing Guitar Hero when you're trying to write or riff on something unfamiliar. I had a DSL 100 and it was smooth and warm and kind of smeary and loose, which made it fun to just play and write and fumble around. Do you get that sort of loose Marshall vibe from the Crab or is it kind of limited by the power section to be too neat (like, say, a Marshall on a helix)? Weird question, I know. Thanks!

The biggest neg about crab. Its sitting on your stack, and looks like Crate.
Full demo isn't even out yet and my first thought is "How much for a capture pack of this bad boy?" ????
