  • I HATE when guitar reviews don't mention the nut width! As well, when the demo is done with the electronics. My god when will reviewers ever learn.

  • I bought this guitar 9 years ago and have no regrets. The pickup system works fine and once, I crank bass too much and both mixer guy and bass guy told me to take it down if I wanted give the bass player a reason to be… BUT, when I play an other guitars with a standard body, unpluged, I just feel like those low note are missing on my Seagull. SO at 4:40, that youtuber made it clear to me he's a salesman when he said "lots of bass". It's like asking bookshelves speaker do to a woofer job. There's always a compromise and in this case you trade bass for comfort. I'm fine with this.

  • you did a great job at reciting the spec sheet and a terrible job at demoing the guitar. I don't need you to tell me what the guitar is made of. I read it on the website and came here to hear how it sounds. I don't need you to count the frets lmfao I mean holy cow… Just play the damn thing and play a variety of music both dry-mic'd and plugged in.
    Finger pick standard tuning dry/electric
Finger pick DADGAD (or at least Drop-D) dry/electric
    Light strum standard tuning dry/electric
    Heavy strum standard tuning dry/electric
This way people who don't have a dealer nearby can get a rounded view of what the guitar's potential is.
The success and proliferation of this guitar review script you and dozens of others have presented shows that people really have no fucking idea what they want.

  • Great review…I own a Seagull flame maple mini jumbo cut away, beautiful guitar and a great bang for the dollar. I have a Taylor, Gibson and a Yamaha L-series transacoustic guitar and you certainly won't be disappointed in any of the guitars in the seagull line.

  • Shame about the pickup, years ago seagulls came with the Baggs Duet 2 ( I beam and a mic ). You could blend the 2, spectacular sound.

  • this guitar deserves a better pickup, not piezzo but something like KK trinity or Baggs Anthem….. Piezzo just makes it sound quacky and thin. IMO

  • So sad, that seagull builts in L.R. Elements pickups in their artist folk cw. In a guitar like this you would expect a dual input pickup with everything you can think of…

  • This is a $1200 dollar guitar, why is this reviewer feeling around for rough edges? I've never felt a rough edge on a Seagull S6. Anyway, nice sounding guitar.
