I thought the MD808 sounded best because it enhanced the mid frequencies with the extra grit. But, I liked the SD 805 as well.

I always love my SD-1 waza on the C setting and find myself using it almost all of the time. I like it more than my Paranormal II and Ghoul Screamer.
I have Gibsons with SD humbuckers going into a DSL 40.
They all sounded the same.

Dry is best. After adding, the density of the lower frequencies is lost.
Just because the 410 has all those channels shouldn't stop anyone from experimenting with the vast tones available. More of a feel thing.
Judging from my phone’s speakers, the Ascendency sounded the best to my ears.

We all know Marshall + SD1= love story & to spark that love, 10 bands eq in the fx-loop. That is how i do it with my Jvm410. Sometimes i use Airis effect OD, it sounds also nice!

I'll always love how "neutral" the SD805 sounds. It doesn't colour the tone that much which I like. It's almost like adding another tube into the gain circuit. Great video Scott!
