Yeah, I probably should have said in the video that I wouldn’t usually use my foot to twiddle the knobs, but I thought that was so blindingly obvious I didn’t need to. With recording equipment around me – mic stand, tripod etc, I couldn’t reach down to change. Come on guys, I might be an idiot, but I’m not *that* daft.

At 5.45 it's set on a 3rd above and a 3rd below the melody. You didn't mention this.
Is this thing capable of generating"block harmonies", whereby the harmony vocals are, say non-moving 3rds+5ths+7ths around a moving lead vocal? Wondering if there is a setting for that, or if this unit logically generates harmonies moving with the lead vocal. ?
I think I'd rather just hear your voice without the harmony. The Harmonizer destroys your tone.
Does it rely on a 9v battery, or you have to hook it up to a power supply?
Using a shoe/foot I thought was gross (yuk) a sh!tty shoe.. yuk. Use hands! At design time, what one person thinks is a "must have" can differ from someone else thinks. I prefer the money goes into the signal processing than anywhere else, everything is price point driven.
Reverb knob always works even when the pedal is off with no harmony effect?

Late response, but that reverb knob should be notched at the beginning of each effect. Seems like that would make much more sense.
I have the acoustic live pedal that I use in our 3 pc band. It is a game changer. I’ve had people literally come up no sy how we sing like angels. It’s got us so many gigs. Worth every penny.
Does it need an instrument (guitar/keyboard) to activate the harmonies?

Im a bass player in a rock band doing backing vox. This looks ideal. Basic thirds is all i need, but do i have to have an instrument plugged in? And if so, can i send a di signal from my bass amp, or plug the bass into it? Or would i have to nick a signal from the guitarist to make this work? Thanks. Ian.

I like my harmonizer much better than all these other brands that need guitar's plugged into them and have interference with noise..mines you can plug guitar or keyboard or just use it for hamonies
Nobody never say how the connections goes
After hearing harmonisers from TC for in reviews, I just find the effect a bit irritating. I couldn't sit through an entire set loaded with this.
How about if you are only using this for vocal harmony effects WITHOUT any instruments. Only with backing tracks. Would it still be useful? I'm debating between the duplicator or harmony singer. Im a vocalist and I don't play any instrument.
I had to hot glue all the knobs in place on the full size harmony. Stupid that the selector switch is so close to the volume.. I also kept stomping on the manual button, bad things happened…
Harmonic Vocals sound pretty natural compared to some other pedals which sound kind of Robotic/Un-Natural
At last, a nice sensible non hysterical review of a product, clearly & calmly explained, at a normal pace.

Do you think I could use this pedal with backing tracks, to harmonize my violin? I don’t sing, but I am looking to harmonize the melody on my violin as I play over backing tracks.
I got a Bluetooth microphone so that I can sing Acapella without the instrument.
This is constructive criticism, but people buy this sort of pedal for the harmonies, but you only demoed one setting and spent half the time talking about reverb and level, something that other pedals could sort out.
Can you use this pedal to harmonize a Violin for example ?

UPDATED Feb 2024: Nice review, is it momentary or patch? Momentary would be handier live ? Too pricey for what it does and doesn't do. It really needs a Slapback Delay button just to thicken the vocals. I have the voicelive Acoustic play but it's too big. UPDATE : Momentary option when powering on, check manual. I have this pedal and the larger Acoustic Play. The harmonies from this pedal are awful compared to the larger Acoustic Play. It can't be a firmware update, it just doesn't sing in harmony, very disappointed as I bought this for its size and portability.

The sound effect is very good, such as recording voice. Better then system mixer easy to carry. I like it.
is this for acoustic setup only? what if i plan for 1 man band with piano accompaniment? is it possible?
