  • Sorry but those things you say tubes do are just a matter of opinion I’ve gone between tubes and solid state and to me tubes are just more work to get glass to glow

  • This is exactly the kind of elitist/puritan bs that drives out competition. A tube amp will not help you become a better guitar player.

  • "These are things you can kind of do in the digital world, but it's not the same experience."
Well then maybe you guys should fix that. Maybe it's time for PRS to expand into the digital world. We now have pedals like Horsemeat and Mary Cries and a plenty of Amps+Cabs to choose from. Why not make digital versions of all of them? Or give us an all-in-one by coming out with your own modeler with digital versions of all your pedals, amps, and cabs and sell it for a thousand bucks.

  • Huge prs fan. Own 5 guitars. I've also been a huge tube amp fan. Until I got my hands on a Helix. I sound as good if not better than ever. Plus I don't have to lug that heavy tube amp around. More than a fair trade off for a "real "amp

  • Love Valve amps, I agree they’re not able to be replicated. However practice makes you a better guitar player, not the gear. But good gear can make it more enjoyable!
