Thank you!
80/20 bronze for pop and punchy rhythm, and phosphor bronze for a warm and moody blues / folk music.
I use the phospher bronze on my mahogany body Taylor where the guitar sounds too bright but on my Rose Wood body guitar I use the 80/20 to brighten up the sound
+
80-20’s are bright but mellow out gradually with a few hours use and will stay in a “ sweet zone” for about 10-12 hours more playing time.
After that they get into what I call the “thump mode”which works well on Gibson J 45’s and 00’s for that dry blues tone.
Phosphor Bronze are smoother and stay the way they are until they go dead.
It’s all a matter of what works best to your ears and on your guitar.
I put 80/20 on my j45, and i am going straight back to phosphorus bronze after i get my money's worth out of the 20 dollars i spent on the strings. I love the softer sound of the PB strings
I didn't know christoper walken played guitar
Volume maior também a bronze
80/20. All I use now on my epiphone Texan inspired. I tried pb twice and blah
I prefer the phosphor bronze
Thx for the info.
Any more music charts
I have a fairy bright guitar (faith venus) and thought the phosphor would suit it well, but hearing this has got me unsure.
80/20 have more low and high ends while Phoshpor Bronze has a more flat EQ and therfore more pronounced mids
I tried the 80/20 set but they were heavier and made fingerstyle so hard. Phosphore bronze are very light and easy to play but 80/20 sounds more musical. It’s a trade off
80/20 sounds brighter and has better time sustain
Whats the name of the first song?
I'm more impressed with the 80/20 set.
