I bought an $80 guitar in 1987 because it sounded just as good as anything else in the store. The salesman then said I should have bought a $750 guitar but when I said it didn't sound any better, he said "Maybe, but the cheap guitar won't last five years. And he was right. It didn't last 5 years….
Nope. In fact, it's lasted for 30, so far. And it sits proudly next to my Taylor and Takamine.
I wish I could take it back and shove it in that salesman's face, but since he was probably 70 years old at the time, he's probably pushing up daisies by now.
Well, it depends on where you get the Yamaha APX 500 iii from. Where I got mine, the original price was £315 yet I got it £5 off. In some places, it’s either cheaper or more expensive than £315.
wow, has anyone on these top 10lists ever heard a Breedlove even on here, and they go down to 2-300$, even Taylor and Martin have a 3/4 & and the big baby Taylor all in this price range. as far as best guitars under 1000-1500$, holy smokes people, I'm glad you're satisfied, but you are missing out on a whole other world, I can thi k of at least 5-10brands that make these brands like toys from the DG. BUT i. glad you're happy. I am frustrated trying to pick one to try to buy, that i think single handedly has a line up more affordable, Best quality and undeniable sound quality and things to do with that are simply amazing and then I still have 5other brands I. back of my mind saying, you remember me, I have a ton of features also and a sound of my own that doesn't compete with this list???what should I type in to get a list of affordable guitars that are being used as home piddlers and recording and concerts low and some expensive models that are starting to make names like Martin and Taylor say wow, these guys are really getting everything out of their products, and oh yeah I just watched a Breedlove review of one that weighs 3.6 lbs and electric /acoustic with cool features, now that is cool itself
