Just as a helpful comment to all the Randy fans out there, and a respectful correction to what he said here about Randy's Marshalls, Randy had his heads modified by Marshall in England to add more gain to the front-end of the amp. They definitely were not stock. RIP Randy & Ozzy !! ♥

Mr. Crowley is one of the greatest solos in the history of hard rock.
I chased Randy's tone for over 40 years. Had all the pedals. Amps. But let's be honest his best tone was always captured live.
I’d have to say Tonight is one of my favorite solos only.
DOAMM favorite song/solo. Nobody had ever heard anything like the classic acoustic and intense solo in this song and I saw it up close. Absolutely incredible. RIP the immaculate RR.

He had a doubled guitar sound your all wrong um tribute might be best studio I thi k they did some type of weird stuff with the speakers when you play it um I mean listening to it cause just a stereo doesn't do it right you need surround sound plus two speeakers
Randy was a true master and is probably my second most favorite guitar player. But who's kidding who? His tone sucked
It's crazy to think randy sounded better than almost anybody to ever touch a guitar and his equipment was so old these people doing everything they can to match his sound with electronics and still can't quite get there
