Use a compressor for heavens sake
Starting out with Sor, Guliani, finding a good teacher. Sounds pretty much by the rules to me.
How does she "Share sharing"? your desciption is confusing…
I like the reliability of D'Addario strings.
❤
respect
Very precise playing and it's great, sure… But there's a real lack of dynamics…
Equivalent of playing right but with no intentions. And if you are a musician reading this… You know it's true.
Ho tanto rispetto e tanta ammirazione per Carlotta Dalia. E penso che la chitarra classica possa '' fare tutto '', almeno nell'immitare i suoni come lo spiegava Segovia.
Bella..
Branduardi tanta roba ❤
Brava
The only rule is to feel the music–make it your own.
She got a cute thumb
It looks like a rainbow
hmmm, that's a really lovely guitar case!
Ooh we need a Sor Hands reaction vlog whoa whoa whoa on this one
What pure spirit….
Guyssss please please do this kind of video with Marcin dylla❤❤❤❤
You are a fabulous guitarist and I love your music. However, I don't think it is a good idea to put on new strings just before a concert performance. Newly fitted strings very quickly go out of tune as they stretch and settle in.
Everyone who plays a sport does warm-up exercises. This is necessary for many reasons, not least to prevent injuries. These aren't blind rules, but techniques that serve a purpose. Playing an instrument is physically also a sport. Typical warm-up exercises for guitar aren't scales and arpeggios, but specifically designed movements to prevent neuromuscular and joint injuries. A health advisory is not a rule. If you ignore it, you must bear the consequences.
D’addario’s composite strings are interesting. As I’ve aged, fingers get stiff so string tension and action are issues. If a guitar has average action (not low like flamenco) low tension strings feel better though you have to push treble strings to project the melody. Agree with Maestra’s comments of studying Sor/Carcassi etudes and Giuliani right hand studies. Overall, some say Carcassi is best for learning classical guitar, Sor teaches difficult passages. IMHO- guitar lacks the repertoire/history of the violin, flute, piano composers. Many guitar solos are transcriptions of pieces for other instruments. Nothing wrong with that, it was a way to build its limited repertoire. Thanks to Tarrega, Villa Lobos, Ponce, De Falla, Turina, Moreno Torroba, Segovia, Bream, Parkening, Sainz De La Maza, Presti/Lagoya, Barbosa-Lima, Rodrigo, C and P Romero, Duarte, Llobet, Morel, B Powell, Brower, Isbin, Domeniconi, Britten, Ohana, the Assads, Rak, Koshkin, York, Tennant, Kannengiser,Takemitsu, Yocoh, C Bird, and many others who have composed/inspired/arranged for guitar.
Savarez strings the best! ❤
Hannabach strings are best
if you change the strings before the concert, are there no tuning issues because the strings are new and not settled?
"See the potential of our instrument instead of imitating others". Nailed it!
I think that's true for guitar, for playing chamber music vs solo, but also for guitarists.
(Be yourself, everyone else is already taken – Oscar Wilde)
Fantastic and truly thought-provoking, what you say about it being the goal of all generations.
You are a fabulous musician, a beautiful women. A good philosopher. ❤❤❤
