Stoked to welcome Expresso FX to the channel! ???? This is Sof’s incredible take on a Fuzz Face and a Rangemaster/Treble Booster, which he has dubbed the Dual Ge / Si Fuzz & Ge Boost! This one features NOS Germanium and Silicon transistors that Sof has sourced and matched perfectly, talk about excellent taste! The Ge Fuzz uses AC125, the Si Fuzz uses CV7347, and the Ge Boost uses OC45.
You’re hearing it with my Fender Custom Shop Journeyman Stratocaster with Emerson Custom 5-Way Strat Blender Prewired Kit and Treble Bleed Mod, with the Righteous Sound Pickups Opal Road Pickup Set. The amp is my Benson Amps Vincent 2×12″ and Benson Tall Bird+ Reverb and Tremolo Unit, Scumback Speakers H75-PVC 8 ohm 65w speakers in it. Mics are the Royer R121 and R10, Lauten LS-208, and Ohma Ribbon into a Universal Audio Apollo x4 and Ableton Live 12 for mixing.
