Very cool lesson. Can you look at modes through the lens of the CAGED system? Or are they different?
Sorry if this is a dumb question but how do you know those are the chords in the key I know they are the major scale because of the WWHWWWH formula but why are they all 7’s I guess is what I’m trying to ask ? Ex. Dm7 , or g7
