Did Behringer Admit They Were WRONG in the Klon Lawsuit?
Behringer has made some significant changes to the Centaur Overdrive Klon Centaur clone, now called the Centara Overdrive. Did they just admit they were wrong?

My new Behringer Klone came today 07/30/2025 … and it looks just like the first ones that came out … without the logo+name change. Paid about $80 with tax.
Who cares…
This lawsuit was a genius way to generate media buzz for this pedal. In 2025, you can't help but be suspicious this was done knowing it would go to court. Marketing strategy aside, Behringer makes fantastic Boss Fuzz and Tube Screamer pedals, although they're in the plastic box everyone is critical of. Based on hearing those cheap "sleeper" pedals, I'd be interested to hear what this one sounds like.
How does it sound?
I got one, despite ordering it while it was "out of stock" or as I like to call it "injunctisized". Too bad my play level is not worthy of having this awesome pedal. Someday….
I really want one, even the new one… just because…
Genius marketing by Behringer
i bought this because i wanted a novelty NES Mini Klon and now it's too rare to play :c
Bought 4, simply because of the law suit lol.
Will I sell any of them ?
No way, these are for my children’s inheritances
Got mine the other day the lawsuit one still sealed .maybe i leave it sealed for anothe 50 years .????????????????????????
I think Behringer knew what they were doing. The advertising and awareness this whole thing has brought them is almost as genius as the 'New Coke' fiasco. Why in the world didn't they just offer Bill a $1 royalty per pedal from the start? And yes I have one that I bought just for the look.
A big win for everybody envolved – except the owner of the copyright. Behringer got huge free of charge promotion and sold a lot of the original pedal. The "original" pedals are now gaining value – good for the first buyers.
"Centavo" would be hilarious. It's gonna cost them some centavos.
I had mine back ordered for four months. It finally came in on Wednesday this week and to my surprise it is the original version. It was 69 when I bought it and I think it’s 79 now it’s Sweetwater.
