Carbon Copy is my oldest pedal. I bought it when it first came out, and it’s never left my board. It stays out of the way and sounds great!

When he said “the delay is so dark” after the put the arp back on, if you look at it, the dampen control is turned to the left more than it was before, I have this pedal and turning it that way makes it darker! This isn’t fair to that pedal lol

I just bought an older TC Electronic Nova Repeater. Has a .8th setting plus a "Dynamic" setting that will turn the delay down automatically in the mix while you are playing and turn it back up when you stop. It's great. I don't think any of these can do that.
Bucket Brigade is the best
The way Lee fiddles and fusses with the knobs just agitates me.

i'm late but i really thhink the carbon copy didn't get a proper shot,there wasn't enough of mix, the regen was a bit short in comparison to the other one.

I finally worked out my Meris Polymoon. Today I am applying some white sticker stuff to write all the alt functions on each knob and switch… for the life of my, I don't understand why they didn't print like "(Alt) Darker-Lighter", in small print.. or at least some sensible symbols. Amazing peddle though. It's not that hard though, the knobs do what they say, and then each has an "alt" ability that should have been displayed on the peddle.

First off, I could listen to Rabea play all day long and not lose interest. I am looking for a delay pedal, and the facial expression around 34:49 while playing the Strymon Brig just completely sold me on that pedal!
You sold the Carbon Copy short! It's is far better than you're now saying. And my first crushes were the best (should never have dumped you, Michele G.). The warmth of the tone is the reason it stays on my board. There are tone controls on my guitar, on my amp, and on other pedals that can add treble to remedy the darkness in the tone of the MXR delay. The Carbon Copy, for me, is an always ON pedal (as long as you keep the delay short for most songs that don't include a David Gilmour-like solo). But I don't use the modulation button on the pedal. It pairs great with a Boss CH-1 Chorus (which is another great always ON pedal, as long as you don't go deep on the Depth knob).

Tone City
Trying to match up different settings and different levels on the fly makes an extremely subjective experience even more so. A little pre production would make Andertons vids more relevant. But that reduces the "just guys in a room fiddling around" vibe which seems to have become its appeal.
Sometimes I get the feeling that Rabea finds Lee somewhat odious.
The walrus arp87 sounds great.
Who needs a reverb when you have this delay pedal like this that does both .
Love these videos and very much prefer this exact format, as in I didn't care as much for the chorus one where all pedals stayed plugged in. I like just two at a time and kicking them off!
Are these tests running the effects in front of the amp or through the effects loop?
Is it me or isn’t there one for straight up distortion pedals I.E DS1/2, Pro Co Rat etc as I cannot find one.
