Best Amp I’ve played. Tomatone!

What’s up guys? Yes I need a real camera. Darn it. My phone camera is being overdriven by the amp volume. Anyhow, the rig run down is the strat, emg sa pickups, elixir strings, greer lightspeed, joyo american sound, digitech supernatural, mxr carbon copy (hate that thing, lol), cheap cables, and the Tomatone. Brian Toma and I worked together on dialing this in and maaaaannnnn it’s killer. Perhaps someone can help with a name! 4 EL34 tubes, tube preamp of course, Celestion Fullback (fender style amps loaded with british speakers make magic), and yours truly, noodling around. This amp is just insanity. Controls are Volume, Treble, MIddle, Bass, three way bright switch, and a bias shift switch. That’s more than I need but the clean tones available in this thing are seemingly endless. Just a gorgeous, big, bold, pedal devouring amp. The Celestion 15 is VERY stout and responsive but still poppy, springy, and well…full. Haha. I’ve never so enjoyed an amp/pedal/guitar combo.

  • Phenomenal playing bud! I’ve been a fan from the time I searched for info on a Peavey special 130 and was completely caught off guard with everything from the tone to your style of playing.! Any information on where to purchase one? Keep on grinding brother. Thanks in advance Tom Jackson lead vocalist Tom Jackson Band.

  • Very nice amp, but I think I am even more impressed by your talent…especially your right-hand technique. I use fingers on bass, slide guitar, and many acoustic guitar fingerpicking songs, but mostly pick on electric guitar. Maybe should just go pickles on everything? More brain to instrument connection. Also, how can I get one of those amps?

  • Love your playing and tones dude. Got the gilmour set in one strat and the alnico tele set in another guitar. Been offered the vince gill set with the s ceramics. Is there a significant difference between the sa and s that would make it worth trying? Cheers again
