Is it this loud all the time? Does it increase/decrease with the volume?
I have a similar buzz in a 2 channel but it is way softer in sound and I also hear the rectifier tubes ring (at least one of them) although I am using the silicon diodes but was wondering if a rectifier 5u4g tube makes noise, it can be heard in the signal somewhere eventhough I am not using the rectifiers in the signal (from the vibration noise of the 5u4g's)
I just learned today that one of the caps main purpose is to eliminate the 60 hz hum
No joke my fridge switched on as soon a you hit the switch and I didn’t know what was happening.
Noise gate: i dont exists
Is that a pricey fix?
It's more than just the caps!
That Electra Dyne is one amazing sounding amp! Is that an aftermarket head shell on the Electra Dyne? I've never seen one like that before. I like it better than the original oval shaped design head shell.
Thanks!
Let’s be real, 49ers lost 3 in a row because they had major injuries.
The great thing about tube heads though is once you change the filter caps, the amp will be good as new.
