  • Wow. A lot of haters on here. I just got one and TOTALLY love what it does. That squeeze knob makes the thing act like it's running on low voltage, giving a fuzzy, synthy sputter. I had a blast running it through it's paces. I started playing a song my band normally does all smooth and straight ("who you gonna hoodoo now" by Tony Joe White) and it sounded like Sabbath on a mix of helium and nitrous.

In the right hands, on the right material, this kinda sound will totally turn heads and turn a song upside down. Maybe it won't work for your standard jukebox cover band, but from someone like me who likes to reinvent the covers he does, this guy has the potential to really spice up the interpretations.

I figured it was a ZVex clone – they seem to specialiez in the messed up bitulation and fuzz realm. For a clone, it's clean as a whistle – noise free. $40 very well spent.

I WAS going to give it to my son for Xmas, but, uh, nah. He can wait till his birthday because I have to loan this one to our bass player. LOL

  • I've had 1 2yrs. I don't really use it for these extreme spitty sounds, but I think fundamentally it's fine. Kinda synthy.

  • This is without a doubt the worst fuzz tone i've ever heard. I guess one man's trash is anoter mans treasure and all that.
