We also catch up with the master Blues guitarist Walter Trout whose inspiring personal story and Blues mastery deserves every guitarist’s attention!
Underpinning both of our interviews is the Blues and if that’s the style you want to master, make sure you don’t miss Michael Casswell’s Blues workout in this issue – it’s guaranteed inspiration!
All this, plus our usual blend of reviews, columns and this issue’s chance to win seven of Seymour Duncan’s fantastic FX pedals – one lucky reader is going to have a lot of fun with them this summer!

Hi!! thanks for the video. Do you know if cab HD 210 has the same ability to switch between 4 and 8 ohms? cheers!
what you using for a reverb?
are you running thru the hartke LH500/1000 head? btw this is the only review which demonstrates the low end capability of the hydrive 112, nice job!
Hey Dan, what's the frequency cut off with the tweeter off?
Why not the 4×10?
Why my hartke hx doesn't sound like this!!!!! ????????????
What head amp is use for this demo
The microphone didn't pick up anything from the tweeter. It was not suitably positioned. I suppose the mic would need to be placed a meter or two in front of the cab to get a representative balance of signals coming from the cab, including the different characteristics of the aluminium and paper as well as the baffle. Even better would be next to a drum kit to hear what happens when you push it.
I was really hoping you would have demonstrated how the 2×10 handles the B string.
I have the 15"+tweeter version. It's incredibly light, got wheels and comfortable handles and is a doddle to handle. It's 500W and 8ohms and sounds good – not the best sound ever but good…and absolutely amazing for the price.
I stick another cabinet on top of it (closer to ear level) so I'm actually using it to fill the room with low frequencies. Well worth having a look.
