How wide is the neck at the nut? The website says 48mm but I’ve never heard of a 6-string with that narrow of a nut before ????
Bruh. Can barely hear you without cranking the volume. You recorded yourself too low. Then the mix. You need new monitors. It sounds like farts.
The Mix is so distorted I cant hear the Bass, sorry. But Your explanation was very nice. The Low E String is too low. The idea is so insane, but I only hear Brumm Brumm brumml
This bass is so muddy that notes are impossible to distinguish. I had the same feeling when I bought a redsub INF5 (same pickups i think). I sold it after a month because the sound was terrible and the neck very chunky.

Interesting, I just watched a different review of this same model and it had a very different neck heel.
Nice review man, been looking at getting a bass and want something with an extra long scale as I mainly play low tuned baritone guitars.
The 36.25” on the low end will be really nice.
Nice work! Did you have to make any modifications to the bass for the thicker strings, eg file the nut ?
