This 2019 Martin Blackwell cedar/balsa fan-braced double top with ziricote back and sides delivers the signature warmth, sustain, and effortless legato voice that has made his guitars a favorite among top concert artists.

The tone is dark and rounded at a light touch, opening up with brilliant bite when pushed. Singing trebles, resonant basses, excellent balance, and superb sustain make it a joy to play.   • I think it's noteworthy how many makers are choosing the double top construction! Perhaps the guitar is evolving toward an actual standard, like the violin which hasn't changed in 500 years!
