A Synthesizer That Triggers From Bass! Future Impact V3 Review – Demo
Revolutionize your bass guitar sound with the Future Impact V3 synthesizer! This powerful pedal uses pitch tracking to control a bass synthesizer, producing a range of responsive tones that most pedals can’t match.
With four oscillators, extensive waveshaping functions, two multimode filters, ADSR envelopes, a bunch of LFOs, and a multi-effects processor, the Future Impact V3 generates the strongest bass on Earth. You can fill up 99 memory slots with your patches and an online database is available to share your sound creations with the world.
The Future Impact V3 is an incredibly versatile pedal that can function as an octaver, chorus, flanger, phaser, distortion, envelope filter, traditional wah-wah, tremolo, reverb, and even has a built-in tuner. It can potentially replace a whole pedalboard of dedicated single-effect pedals. The Future Impact V3 is built from aluminum and is lightweight and portable. Welcome to arguably the most revolutionary synthesizer effects pedal there is!

What midi to usb did you use?
Am I missing something? What are the presets used at the start???
I watch a lot of demo videos, and I think this is the first time I've ever backed up and rewatched just for the playing. I mean, the pedal sounds sYKc but the playing is so good. Extra points for the top level Lovecraft shirt.
Probably the best VH album
It's cheap too
Hey – that bass is it a B.B.? By P. or C.?
Very Nice!
B.R.
God money will do anything for bass
A killer demo on that bass synth. I'm getting one. Just imagine if Tim Starace broke that out for a song or 2 and how the audience would react. I really like the versatile, yet simple interface in the software. Like you won't need a degree in sound engineering to use it. Right In My Wheelhouse!!!
björk : army of me?
So, the "Sunday Afternoon In The Park" Moog sound is a preset? That's good Fair Warning, and makes my day.
Hello, my name is Gary. I've seen your videos concerning the future impact pedal. They are real good and have a lot of info in the them.
Where can I find a list showing the type of sound is in each bank and program. I have printed the manual. But it references info about editing and midi mostly.
Thanks
Glad to see you back at it!! Great demo. I ordered one. I think it’ll be more live friendly than the C4 for a non midi guy like me. This into an MXR M80 could be my whole rig.
Is that Army of Me!?
I really like this pedal and it's modern technology flexibility. I find it hard to get a synth pedal that gets that tom sawyer tone. This seems to grab that more. Go from bass to Jordan rudess in one step.
Being able to interface with my keyboard synths, is the biggest draw for me, and a guaranteed purchase. Thank you for making me aware of this unit.
hey dude ive been trying to get into black metal. do you have any bands i should listen to? all i really listen to is dimmu and marduk but idk anything else
Loving the videos man. I was on a long hiatus from playing, and watching your stuff got me back into it. Not to mention I’ve made more progress in the last few months than I did in the last 20 years of playing, because of your stuff.
Can i use any expression pedal with it?
Always reppin' H.P.L swag my man!! He'd be proud!
Looks like himself again.
Rodney looks great.
Amazing! Have you tried boss sy1 and sy200? How they compare?
Hi, great video. I purchased one. If i got it right you said that de FI send out the notes you play also thru midi out, is that correct because i've tryed it but nothing happend.
Don’t know why my previous comment didn’t post.
I run an FI Facebook group which folks are invited to join to exchange ideas about the FI.
I have been heavily involved in the development of this pedal from v3.00 onwards and quite a lot of the features and improvements in v3 were mine. I also wrote the user manual for this pedal.
Folks are also encouraged to install the editor as it also gives direct access to the many presets I shared in the cloud. About 1/5 of the v3.5 factory patches are mine, some of which were demoed in this video.
I just purchased one of these pedals, and I'm looking for as much information as possible on it. Your video is very informative, and I hope you make some more on this pedal in the future.
15:31 hockey music from Strange Brew. ????????????????
The NIN rif you played… I totally forgot that it was played on the keyboard for the band… but you playing it on the bass. ???? wow.
Cool review! Head Like a Hole and Sunday Afternoon in the Park!!! Gonna hafts grab one of these! Thanks for doing this review!
Hell yeah, synthwave was my first thought when I heard this pedal in action! Cheers from the Comrade, uncle Rodney! Looking great!
I wonder – this or C4?
the midi out is awesome! i guess chords are not possible?
I IMMEDIATELY thought you drop the bomb on me lol thats crazy you said gap band right there!
Sunday Afternoon in the Park sounded amazing! Perfect
God Damn you, RMG, now I need one for my power trio.
Thank you! I've tried in the past a Line 6 HX Stomp and the EHX Mono Synth for bass synths, but I always wanted a MIDI out to trigger an external arpeggiated synthesizer. It would be interesting to see a followup video with MIDI tracking to external gear.
For me it was Parliament/Funkadelic that got me into synth bass and of course Bootsy 🙂
I am like you brother Mc G I go way back in my days with these types of Synth effects. Some are good some not so good. This one sounds pretty nice. I have been looking for one lately, trying find something that will give me the EXH Tube Zipper sound 🙂 This with the right distortion may do it.
Björk! How cool is that???
One of the first samples you did reminded me of moving pictures. Hope you are doing good man! And toward the end sounded like Queen soundtrack from Flash Gordon. Very cool!
