Fun test! Excellent playing! I figured knocking the top end down a bit with the coated strings would be ideal for high gain and I was right… for my tastes anyway. Thanks!

I actually quite like both sounds, but the un-coated seem brighter to me. I sweat on my playing too, and I use the Ernie Ball Paradigm’s, which I think are brighter than those D’Addrio’s.
