“OH WOW,” The Jet JS 400 is really That Good ???? ????

To say I was genuinely blown away by the Jet js400 is an understatement.
This is not a budget guitar. It is a great value for money, good guitar period, Nuff said.

  • I have 3 Gibsons (which i love my SG's) picked up new 400 & 300 on a trade because the build is ridiculously good for that price . . .and they are amazing , but i just got the tone riders hss Birmingham set to put in the 400 . . .then it will be heavenly . . Great Guitar period especially for the students . . man i'd be a better guitar player if i had this to start, lmao

  • Good for you! I happy to here you mention Yamaha perhaps one of the most under rated electric guitars under a $1000 well here in Canada. Also Lemi I think in general we are repeadly lied to about tonewood and headstock shock, it's a gong show there are hundreds of brands put out by Cort alone. People need to blank out the channels that are always dumping on budget guitars the simple facts are if your 20 30 40 even sixty s this is our lane not $5000 gibson who I might add have a ton of guitars made in China and set up in the USA only play what gets to the heart of your sound above all enjoy it.

  • What a fantastic guitar for such little money! I agree that, had we had these affordable guitars years ago we would
all have been better players. I'm really liking your soulful slow blues licks. Thanks again.. ????????

  • Glorious clean tones. Love the neck heel, looks really comfortable for high access. You’ve provided me hours of entertainment and inspiration with your videos Lem, so a big shout out to Alesha for encouraging you to start your channel (and the camera work here). ????

  • You're now only 1 guitar away from complete GAS recovery! (me too, just bought a scruffy old Gordon Smith to get playable again and then I'll never need another guitar again ….)

  • I couldn't agree more that the Jets are insane value for money.

I got a second hand js300 for 100 euro's. I planned to only use the body because I have a fender neck laying around. But when I played it, the original neck felt so great I left it on. Big fan of Jet!

  • Sounds really good, I've mentioned before that it would make an interesting video of how you have your guitars set up. IE: action height on low & high E strings etc. Do you have action slightly lower on a Strat style compared to a Les Paul. Best wishes & Enjoy your new acquisition to your guitar collection.

  • Am happy you've found another pallet of tones to explore.
    Your sounding real good Lem????????????
    Personally am a Strat guy.
However, my #1 non-vibrato equipped guitar is the Revstar RSS02T.
Hopefully your journey will lead you to try one some day.
Strat single coils as well as P90 single coils are my favorite pups.
    ????????✌❤????

  • Yeah, I have it in red. Looks great, plays great and you can't beat the price.

The machine heads aren't necessarily bad. It depends on the year of the model. On older models with block saddles and bone nut, the tuning machines were crap. On newer models with bent steel saddles and polimer fibre nut (so it's not a bone nut, but IMO synthetic nut like polimer fibre is actually better) the tuning machines are perfectly fine. At least on my model they are.

  • Agree fab guitars for the money Lemi. I've got 2 JS400s – one in Olympic White like yours and the other in Surf Green which I've since modded.
