    Thanks again man.

  • KTT 88 'S ARE DESIGNED FOR HIGHER HEAD ROOM . I personally like 6L6 for high gain rock or metal and kt 88 for high gain edge of break up clean .

  • Hey Taylor! Hope you're doing well.
I'm looking to buy a new modeler, which one would you recommend between this and the NUX MG30??
really looking forward to your opinion 😉

  • The new editor does not work and is in Chinese. Older software (2.0.0) says the device is not connected, when the macOS (15.5 M1) shows it is. I used there different USB cables)

  • Oh ok.. I’m going to be in trouble again now that you have another Mooer product review..pretty much convincing me to buy 1.haha
Just a question though, does this unit have Trails/ Spill over feature whenever switching between presents?

I really wish that Mooer can have that on their products, like what Valeton and Donner already have. Mooer really have great sounds.

  • Thanks for the video, when you say this unit cannot create blocks does this mean the 4 push buttons aren't groups of pedal chains to use individually? Sorry i'm new to these multi effects units/modeler set up.

  • Actually snagged one of these yesterday from Amazon. Was on sale down to like $150

  • I can only afford the Harley Benton DNA git core, lol jk, (can they load the gnr files? And do I need this because I use GE labs regularly and they are the same amps? I won’t spend over a 100$ for a multi effects unit. Last one I did was the 2120 Artist Purple series with Tube preamp.

  • I love the sounds / effects ???? This is perfect for me , cuz I'm a singer playing rhythm guitar , and all I need is something simple and basic like this ???? & the price point is great ????????

  • I have a GE250 and unfortunately I just didn't think the tones were up to par, even with third party IRs they sounded, crackly and synthetic (I'm going through studio monitors rather than a cabinet). At this point I really want to try the newer units they brought out this year just to see how much they've improved and if they can properly compete with the big names in the simulation game.

  • I have updated mine to version 1.5.0…spell over is not working and the gap on switching presets is very bad

  • Pretty much all the budget end units sound excellent if you’re happy using a (Digital) Multi FX unit. The amount of features, sounds, FX, edit/parameter controls etc for the low cost of most, it’s hard to really complain, although plenty still do. You have nearly every effect you should need and sound good enough. People who comply will be splitting hairs. In comparison to a half decent boutique pedal that is one effect, your defo getting bang for your buck. There obviously is a difference in quality and how professional something may sound, but is there really so much sound quality difference overall?? At the end of the day if it works well for me in my setup in band and sounds good then it’ll do me, instead of past days buying and spending shit loads on individual pedals. Yep was fun but a ballache with power interference, pedal positions on floorboard and dicky instrument/ power cables. So much less hassle now.
I’ve got Valeton GP200 , NUX MG300, zoom G5N. All sound good enough & work well for their low cost. Everyone has their own preferences and what works and sounds best in their set up.’
The updates to the Mooer GE150PRO seem decent so lve just ordered a new one, standard one not with Lithium battery. Delivered to UK and taxes paid cost £137.20 can’t complai. If don’t like it could probably sell it for a bit more or same price paid.

  • Mooer, a Chinese pedal manufacturer, has stolen algorithms belonging to Electro-Harmonix (EHX), leading to legal action and minimal consequences for Mooer (see EHX v. Mooer court filings, 2017). Under Chinese law, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is entitled to representation in virtually every Chinese company, meaning government influence is embedded at the highest levels of corporate decision-making (see “Company Law of the People’s Republic of China,” Article 19). As a resusult, purchases of Chinese-made products—Mooer included—directly support and finance the policies of the CCP.

Moreover, various organizations, including the United Nations and Amnesty International, have raised concerns over the alleged forced organ harvesting of Muslim minorities in Xinjiang (see UN Human Rights Council reports, 2018–2022) and the suppression of political freedoms in Hong Kong (see Amnesty International, “Hong Kong: Repression Intensifies,” 2021). Buying from chinese companies, which are all under CCP influence, is enabling these reported human rights abuses.

In short, while some consumers may find Mooer’s pedals appealing due to pricing or innovation (this innovation comes from the fact that in china, they do not respect intellectual property and openly steal it), the allegations against Mooer for stealing EHX algorithms , combined with concerns about the CCP’s role in all Chinese businesses, prompt warnings that every purchase potentially contributes to organ harvesting and oppression. Whether or not one accepts these claims, the debate underscores the broader moral and ethical questions of engaging with companies tied to CCP policy.

  • Is it really that hard to actually let us hear what some of the amp sims sound like with WITHOUT thrash metal only tones? Bro, you do realize that there are a LOT of guys who play other styles of music than headbanger speedcore deathmetal ?

  • Mooer are low key changing the game. Small things like adding a rechargeable battery is really convenient. No need for any power outlets and you can hook it up to an external power bank if you need more juice.
I use the Mooer P1 with their F4 footswitch (which conveniently fits in my gig bag) as a fly rig and it’s made playing shows so much easier.
More companies should have rechargeable units and have a USB -C slot as a backup.

  • Wow man I tell ya, theres a HUGE array of this stuff out there now. I've been out of it for like 15 years and just came back this year to see that everyone and their chinese cousin is making a ridiculous modeller with AxeFX algorithms and whatnot….. What I have found is that mostly these units have decent enough amp algorithms, standard FX models that havent changed in 20 years, and terrible digital/analog conversion that renders them unusable at anything over bedroom volume.

The only ones I have found that sound good at any level, and also dont cost 4000 dollars, is the TONEX Pedal and TONEX One.

I'd swear that the TONEX stuff actually sounds better as you raise the volume, almost like a real tube amp. This is a feature of tubes that has NEVER been replicated well before, so yeah… esp for 180, I'd hard pass on any of these chinese good algo/bad conversion units and get a TONEX One.

  • Awesome video brother. I’ve been so torn on what multi effects pedal I wanna get. I really like the price point of this one. I play metal (drop g 7 string) and I am gonna be playing some live shows in the future. Nothing crazy. Small shows. Only one every few months or so. So I don’t wanna spend a lot of money. So I guess I’m just looking for some recommendations. Do you think something like this would work well ? Any other options you think would be better?

  • Love your content! Super cool to hear you mention how a company that supported you from day one has a special place in your heart! I can totally relate. When I first started reviewing board games Thunderworks Games was the first publisher that supported me by sending stuff to review and I will always have a special place in my heart for their (luckily great) games! Anyways, keep up the killer content!
