In this exclusive gear rundown, Traa Daniels of P.O.D. takes us behind the scenes on his current tour with Godsmack in Europe, giving fans an inside look at the gear that shapes his iconic sound. Known for his powerhouse bass playing, Traa walks us through his beloved Warwick Streamer from the late 90s, a key instrument in his setup, as well as his Warwick Dolphin, which he’s left back in the US for some much-needed maintenance.
Traa explains how his Warwick basses have been integral to his sound over the years. His Warwick Streamer, a special piece from his collection, has been used on many P.O.D. records and is a prized part of his gear. While the Streamer typically stays at home, it’s making an appearance on this tour. Traa also reflects on his long relationship with his Warwick Dolphin, a bass he’s been playing for over 25 years. Although it’s currently in repair, the Dolphin remains his main bass, and he discusses the love and care he’s put into it over the years.
Throughout the video, Traa also showcases his RockBoard by Warwick, a compact and efficient pedalboard that complements his streamlined setup on the road. Known for its high-quality construction and thoughtful design, the RockBoard helps Traa keep his rig both portable and effective, with cables neatly running out of the back to avoid any clutter during performances.
