  • Great video i’m new to learning guitar, and I’m not good at programming amps so my question is is there a presets for different tones like let’s say you want to learn a Metallica, or volbeat song and does it just preset it for you so that you can get that tone?

  • Beautiful sound and tone Walter …..amcurious about the specs but I do see it as a useful tool…only wondering how compatible with other daws .
I assume as long as your can import wav files all should be good!

  • Does it have any place in a studio setup? How does the amp work in combination with a standalone DAW on your PC? Can you easily reflect your recordings there or record-in ? Thanks!

  • Great review and wonderful playing as always, Maestro Rodrigues. I especially liked the loop that you built. Thank you!

  • I have started with computer studio (Froot Loop, Audacity, Garage Band and a few more that I tie up with those aforementioned apps) and I just bought a Yamaha Music Console which record, mix, add Fx and does everything I need it to do to easily record my music. What I am saying here is forget about computer programs or apps…there is nothing like a hand on music console that let you SEE and HEAR what you are doing in real time. I mean these apps are ok if you work with someone else in the studio otherwise you if you do it on your own, you will need to grow an extra pair of hands. I actually have an on and off recording pedal on my new music console and, on average, it take me less that 5 minutes to be ready to record including turning on my amps, mikes, keyboards and drum machine. With digital apps, it took me hours just to set it up. The one thing that drives me absolutely nut with using a virtual console was that when you finally find the sound that you want, no matter if you leave all buttons at the exact same spot, it's never going to sound the same the next day. I do not have this problem anymore with my Yamaha console. It does have slight variation but nothing like the digital stuff.

  • Hi, but what about singing…saying input of one or several mics – and maybe even singing KaraFun files ?

  • Whenever I come across a new video like this and listen to it I always first question ask what is the signal chain? It's critical for us to know

  • pretty soon with AI I won't even have to play my guitar, two robotic hands will come out of the amp and play it for me.

  • This amp seems cool ???? sounds good but a small desktop practice amp that is $799 it was bad enough the positive grid was $499 and the yamaha at $599

  • Great review by a very good guitarist! I Strongly appreciate both the review and the music you play, there are so many other reviews with only metal sounds or overdrive! You have shown another side of the numerous possibilities of the device and that is very appreciated! I do have placed an order on it being so impressed with the machine! One question Walter, how long did it take to you to be confortable with the STUDIO? Because you feel so easy with! Thanks for your feedback. Michel from Paris

  • The key is going to be how good it sounds in person.
If it sounds like the positive grid 40 watt amp. It doesn’t Matter how good it looks and how many features it has , it’s gotta sound awesome.

  • Very impressive amp — super easy to handle and packed with features. Definitely much better than those pedalboards with small displays and codes. Thanks and Great job Walter!
