SLO100 at 7.5 gain? Bro I keep mine on 3.8-4.2 gain for best punch/dynamics … remember,.. the real SLO has 1-11 scale on pots,… Fractal has 1-10,…. so this translates to 5ish gain on my real slo100 …..

I have never played around with the input dynamics until today. It is a very subtle change in tone, but to me its much more about the feel and the attack. SO much better. Thank you for posting this. Great tones too BTW. I'll be subscribing

Just watched and made the changes. Now in turning down the volume of my guitar I am getting way more real amp feel. Thinking 316 intro for Ed's solo on "Live Without a Net". I have a dual amp set up with a Soldano on the left and a 5150 on the right. Epic!! Thanks for all the great videos.
Input dynamics? Is that some kind of a compressor? Are you just dialing it down a bit so you get more dynamics and so doing your proving that you can get your brightness back and it sounds more real and obviously not so compressed lol how could you apply this technology to other modelersor can you great video? I agree, the awesome thing about Fractal gear is that you can dig into those deep parameters or you can just leave it alone and it still sounds great. The level of tone tweaking is unmatched.
Great tips, I also find that by setting the room level in the cab block around 10% I find that it adds that right "amp in the room" feel with that extra sensation of warmth.

I Downloaded your preset and it works fine. FYI – FM3 only has Output Compressor on the Amp Dynamics and does not have Input like the FM9 does.

I'm yet to do much with the input dynamics control, i'll have to take a closer look to see, it certainly expands with more gain going into the amp, nice result
re: the input gate, totally get turning that off, although I think it might have been set a touch high (it was reducing gain on some of the playing parts)
I use a sidechain style gate for the much heavier stuff I do with the fractal, depends totally of course on what you're playing or settings things up for
for any lead patches I tend to turn off all gates, i prefer how it reacts
if you want some more goodness, try out the PREAMP page in the cab block, you can add some extra sauce to the mic preamp that's on the cab, try e.g MODERN and add some Drive and saturation , see how it effects the tone, enjoy the ride =)
