Well let me just clear something up here . Classical guitar is a style all on its own . It's infact way older then steel string guitars . Some people think nylon string is for beginners to learn on so they can move to steel string. This is half way true and half incorrect. Theres Classical nylon string professional guitarist that are hundreds of times better then steel string strumers. Their style involves finger style that makes the Classical guitar sound like a piano. I own a Classical made in Spain cedar top nylon guitar . I own a gs mini Taylor steel string , a Martin dx , 3 electric guitars with 1 bass 4 string electric. I love steel and nylon. Nylon for fingerstyle Classical music, the electric guitars for metal , grunge and rock . The 2 steel string accoustics for regular strumming songs and the bass guitar for all music . I love steel and nylon equally. Check out Brandon Acker. He makes the steel string strumer look like a beginner when he plays the Classical nylon guitar .
That's not a riff usually played on nylon. This video says nothing.
All this time I could've saved my fingers when I started and now I'm seasoned and I'm using nylon bc that's all I had in the right size but I'll always go back to steel. They last longer and sound nicer imo

did you play them differently? it almost sounds like there’s extra notes on the version with the steel strings. i like your nylon string version of this riff better, it seemed almost.. cleaner? but i prefer the way steel string guitars sounds in general for the indie, rock & folk vibes i want to learn to play. thanks for the vibes! ????????
Decided to learn guitar on steel strings because I clearly enjoy suffering. Who needs fingertips anyway?
