Filtertron sounds like the humbucker with the blanket removed from the guitar speaker!

FACT: Nile Rodgers originally played that lick on a Strat, if I’m not mistaken. I am therefore surprised that the P90’s sounded the most like the original lick, rather than the classic Tele pickups. I question if those are real P90’s.

And I just realized that out of my 11 guitars. (That took a lifetime to acquire, I don't have a P-90). It's time to call Sweetwater.
Single coil and P90 then Humbucker and Filtertron. Just a preference/opinion. Your taste may vary.
