If you’re an acoustic player who loves to move around the stage but hates the leash of a cable, the Xvive U8 could be just what you’ve been waiting for. Designed specifically for acoustic and classical guitars, this compact wireless system uses a supercardioid mic on a gooseneck to capture your tone naturally—no mods or pickups needed. With low latency, clean 24-bit audio, and a solid 90-foot range, the U8 delivers pro-level sound without tying you down. Nick Jennison reviews

  • Finally! A wireless mic system that's actually usable! ???? The deal-killer to date was always the cabling. ????

  • Excellent review except you’d want to record by miking a speaker to judge how the pickup and the mic would compare in a live performance situation. Pickups usually sound awful when recorded directly.
