Since forming in 2010, Atlanta noise rockers Whores had only released one LP, 2016’s Gold.—until this year. Eight long years later, their new full-length, WAR., dropped in April, and Whores celebrated by tearing across the country and blasting audiences with their maelstrom of massive, sledge-hammering rock ’n’ roll.
The day after their gig at Cobra Nashville, Whores frontman Christian Lembach, dressed in his Nashville best, met up with PG’s Chris Kies at Eastside Music Supply to run through his brutal road rig.

Hey there, to avoid corrosion just use a paint brush, and dip it in a very good oil like the german made Ballistol Universalöl Waffenöl Rostschutz oil. This is also corrosion avoiding. Just put a vera very thin layer on the magnets, not too much so it avoid running into the pickup, and that should prevent corrosion very well and dureable. You can use this oil also for any metal party to protect them, and also for your saddle nuts for better tuning. But as always, ……… only very small amount of this oil! Caught Whores and , I think Slothrust, in Tulsa around SXSW time 2017…maybe 2018..but was sold after 1 song. Love the band. Love saying "Do ya like Whores" outloud to people, etc…. Keep doin yo thing. The world needs Whores. I need Whores.
We saw them Saturday at the Fouf in Montreal, awesome, cathartic. We spoke briefly to them after the show, super cool guys. I love the entire Esquire, fuzz, plexi ethic. Best rock show I have seen in years,
I have been a fan of whores for a long time, i keep politics out of music, good music is good music no matter what the musicians political views are, but today I just learned Christian is a stick up lib, I seen him on Facebook and thought I'd try to add him as a friend cause I'm a huge fan of his, and he is a huge inspiration on guitar, he accepted and I thought it was pretty cool. Then he musta scrolled down my page and seen a meme of a joke on the vaccinations and got Offended, and instantly commented " this is where it ends" and fucking blocked me! I thought he was a pretty cool guy , but now just see him as a classic stuck up liberal that can't take a joke! Total bummer cause I honestly looked up to the guy.

i wish we wouldnt have to be apologetic about using real bad ass amplifiers these days. i do disagree with low input for pedals tho. also youre definitely hearing all the tubes crush on acdc records
