My Question is how to change the open chord to Bar Chord Immediately?
I watching from 2025 April ????
Is it me or are the chapters a bit confusing?
To be honest so far from my guitar journey, i didn't adapt the knowledge right away. The skills just came out of nowhere. For example recently I was struggling with strumming patterns and after playing this one song, suddenly I don't struggle with strumming anymore. Turns out when the things you do suddenly feels natural, the sound and the techniques will automatically follow. But still it takes me a lot of practice ????
At starting I shift f – c easily but c – f hard to play. but practice make …
Tank you!!
Thanks for the video! A question: normally, when you change chords, the strings continue sounding between chords, so the change sounds natural. When changing to a barre chord, the index finger stops that sound and the change is noticeable with a stop in between. How do you change chords from any to a barre chord without that muting second? Do you place the index after placing the others? Thanks for your help!
Nooooooo I've been warned with the ending being cut but it ended where I needed the most
Hey Andy, love your videos. Do you have any advice for barring the. E string with your thumb like Hendrix. I find it more natural but I’m struggling with a nylon string one since it’s so thick and I can’t get my hands around it anyways
When I ~try to~ play Beautiful Day (by U2), the change from A to Bm (which is actually the song's first chord change) sounds like shit. Now, let me explain: I actually can put in the two chords and they isolated sound really well, but when I'm strumming to the song I take so long to finish Bm that one of the strummed notes sound either muted or arong, which in turn messes with the whole song and makes it sound like an absolute crap

the PewDiePie of guitar
This is exactly what I’m struggling with right now and it’s driving me nuts. Thank you for this.
thanks bro love from nepal
Yeah, fine if you have fingers like a spider crab’s legs – tsk.
You explained this really well. I remember earning these chords a long time ago. For anyone beginning out there, if you practice regularly it does pay off! Great video
Change chords quciker
The abolute hardest part in building muscle memory for E shaped arre chords like F, is that my second finger always wants to go where my 3rd and 4th are going, i.e. to the A and D string. It just does not want to move to the G string. I tried to put down the barre first, which helps a tiny bit.
5 ml ? Your US of A viewers have no clue what you’re talking about. You might want to toss out the
“Inches” equivalent.
What a weird ending point.
I can’t reach my thumb over the top, and I thought I had long fingers…
Is no one going to talk about how the chord diagram was inverted ?
Love his accent
One I keep trying is C, Am, F and G7
does anyones finger cramp up if they immediately change
Does it end a bit abruptly or is it just me
He'll I wish I had your fingers. You were born to play my man.
Sir I like your tutorials and sir can you make an video on theme of War movie
This is exactly what I've been looking for! Thanks Andy
Useless fucking video
Your lessons is best sirrr
Hi Andy ???? I struggle withe going from D chord to Bm???? any suggestions
Gear Tutorial as Per Andy ! That’s helped me so much ???????? moving into barre chord is so much easier with your guidance & help . Awesome dude !!
Quite helpful but I’m still having a lot of trouble changing to barre chords quickly. If I do manage to get the chord shape right it usually has a lot of feet buzz and is really annoying. The chords I’m trying to play are G E minor and B minor
Great video, Andy. I've been looking for some instruction on this subject for a little while and stumbled upon this! When playing barre chords, I have a tendency to place fingers 2,3,4 first followed by the barre?
I've been looking for this video for a very long time. Thank you Sir!
Which guitar is this ?
I have sooo much trouble playing that hybrid F
I think changing from D to Bm
Is it just me or did this end rather suddenly?
Make a panic at the disco song
Man, thanks for sharing this Andy! I love using this technique and teach it to ALL of my in-person students! So many beginner guitarists struggle to get from open chords to barre chords and this technique is exactly the key to getting there MUCH more quickly! Groovy and very easy to understand video 🙂
Thanks a great help.????????????
Could you make a lesson on daughters by John Mayer please
Your the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm learning some songs and for example I find difficult to changre from A to Bm and from A to G(barre)
Your awsume buddy
Thanks Andy! That will really help ????
