Dunlop MC-404 CAE Wah Pedal Review by Sweetwater Sound
Get the Dunlop MC-404 CAE here: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/MC404CAE
The Dunlop MC-404 CAE is one seriously cool Wah pedal! Co-designed by Dunlop and Bob Bradshaw of CAE, it has two separate, killer-sounding Fasel inductors for switching between one traditional wah tone and one with a deeper voice; both of them adjustable. Add to that a built-in, MXR MC-401 Boost and you’ve got a very versatile pedal. Excellent build-quality and top-notch components make this thing a tank that will hold-up really well under all sorts of circumstances, a Bradshaw and CAE hallmark. Thanks for watching!

Got a little excess white grease on that rack and gear potentiometer.
Great review. Do you have to engage the boost every time you turn the wah on and off or once engaged, it stays on?
Sounds great, thanks for the demo!
My man agonized over his shoe choice for this vodeo.
I’ve seen Eric Gales play it and let me tell you, it is a beautiful, deep sound indeed.
like those "hip" musicians with their complicated shoes
I have this pedal and sound great! I would ask, if i put an MXR MC-401 after this wah as a booster, is it a bad decision? I know there is a MXR MC-401 circuit in this wah already, but it operates only if wah is on. I don't know if it is a good decision or not buying another same circuit.
Less talk, more rock.
Can I add a buffer to this so I can put a fuzzface after it?
Mine arrived without the white bottom rubber band (Not sure if it's a plate or what) I noticed on Dunlop's website they aren't selling it with that accessory anymore, anybody knows where can I buy it separately?
Didn't Bob modded Eddie's Wah back in the 90's ???????????? I believe so.
I've purchased 3 different Wah pedals over the yrs and each one loses a considerable amount of sound/tone when I switch in to it. Will this Wah do the same?
I'm wondering since a clean boost, can you put it after the overdrive/distortion without adding extra grit or overdrive?
Does the BCB 60 board plug fit into this Wah?
Dark mode would probably make it a good sub for Sabbath.
I wish they would just take the 535q and add another fasel option.
Too many bells n whistles..maybe good in studio …bbe wah is nice sound….I still like DeArmond wahs, more travel n big wah fir foot onstage…DeArmond weeper wah are awesome!!!
The name sounds like some kind of error code after pressing a bunch of random buttons and messing something up lol
I want to buy this wah, take out the electronics and rubber treadle cover, and put them in the Gary Clark Jr. Wah copper housing
its possibly only use the boost without using the wah???
this is my favorite cry baby wah
I think it’s hilarious that every guitarist ever makes the same facial movements when using a wah
Own it. LOVE IT!
Own it. LOVE IT!
I love that red Fasel

The cut doesn't seem linear. Seems like there's a real sharp exponential cut right near the middle.
WHAT ARE THOOOOOOOOOOSE!?
The dad shoes really seal the deal
Aguante UNION santa fe Argentina
Do you think this Pedal it's better than 535Q Crybaby?
Best wah ever
I own It 🙂 its Killer
