They've been playing together as long as The Warning so they have that depth of sound. One thing I notice – as far as I can tell no in-ear click tracks. Just timing by knowing each other perfectly.
I saw them four times on this tour ,I went for them as I have loved them for years now ,respect to the Warning for giving them huge break and gotta love Ale who lets Riley use her bass rig every show ..❤
Saw them in St Louis opening for The Warning with my daughter. They really left an impression; we both really liked them. Very tight, and very energetic on stage. Fly was my favorite of the night as well.
Riley is the female Kurt Cobain. They are great and give me a real '90s vibe.
That was fantastic! That video really helped. I’ve liked most of the stuff I’ve heard from them, but the videos I saw of them opening for TW came across as boring. This video was much better and they sounded great!!
They made a fan out of me at the Raleigh show!!!!!! Even got a setlist from the drummer!!!!!
Yes, Alice In Chains sounding indeed. A great opener for TW. Sibling power-trios FTW????
I saw Speed Of Light three times on The Warning tour and they were fantastic every night. After The Warning tour ended, they drove straight back to CA and played at the Vans Warped festival in Long Beach. They are also on the Warped line up in Orlando this November. They've had some excellent exposure this year, I can't wait to see what they do next.
I watched some full-concert videos of them on GmanTW's channel. They consistently perform at that level, something else they have in common with The Warning. They're phenomenal!
Saw them in Raleigh as well, couldn’t ask for a better opening act
I saw Speed of Light in Raleigh opening for The Warning the night before this concert. They were a great opening act. As you said, they are very tight. Riley (who I believe is still 17) has a tremendous voice, particularly when she isn't screaming. Good stage presence–I loved how she would occasionally go over to her brother and mosh for a bit. Once or twice she knocked into him so hard I thought he would fall over. From what others have said they also are genuinely nice people. They do need additional material: some of their songs are four or five years old.
I'd happily see them again. I don't think they are a headliner yet, but I can see that down the road.
