The snare was slightly off, abe would tighten his drum head as tight as possibly to get that Deftones snare that almost sounds like you’re breaking the drum every time its hit but it is midi drums and not an actual kit so it still sounds good

Snare should be way snappier
I feel like stereo widening just doesnt captivate the fullness of double trafking and LCR panning man. Idk. Just feels so weak and fluttery compqred to theirs, which you can hear are double tracked. Otherwise compositionally yeah you nailed it. Just personally, i think tracking 1 mono guitar and stereo widening just sounds so weak
