Im currently in search of a replacement instrument for my D-28. Its i bit to cumbersome and Also a bit boomy. That beeing said i want the dreadnought shape. This could be an alternative, for sure. Do you know of any other builders who offer thinner D-28’s?

A dreadnought is a fun guitar and I love mine. But my ears tire of the boom after a while, it's a little too much so I pick up my om. Perhaps this is the solution.

This shallower depth is GREAT for folks with sore shoulders or rotator cuff injuries. i.e. Easier to "get around on it" than guitars with normal dread depth. [Ask me how I know]

It's an interesting idea. You hear less low end and the mids are definitely brought up, it sounds like a D-28 with less bass and more mids or a Gibson with more bass.
Had the pleasure of seeing you play alone and with Jim Hurst when you were in Murfreesboro picking this up. Such a great night.
