NUX Mighty Air (One Of The BEST Cheap Amps?)
Today we’re checking out the Mighty Air by NUX. Some people seem to thing this is the one of the best practice amps, or cheap amps, out there, and I’m going to find out. I’ve previously tried a couple of other NUX products, and they have been quite good, so this might be interesting.
I hope you enjoy today’s video!

I ended up with a Squier Frontman 10G. I bit generic there are still a few combinations of knobs and switches to try. Really professional sound.
The one time I disagree with you Elmo. This amp is fantastic considering it’s rechargeable and i actually need a drum machine built in for my work. The only thing I would like to see is a built in tuner into the amp itself.
Otherwise i love it
But you didn’t use the NUX modelling app!
That’s like buying a car and not buying gas.
You missed out on the looper, drum patterns, more effects, ‘more amps and shared presets.
Wow, this is a waste of plastic ????.
I ordered one of these amps recently then watched your review, Elmo.. instant buyer's regret. ???? Happy to say, although it looked very limited when you reviewed it, with some tweaking of the settings through the app, it started to come together and actually sounds good.. for what it is. I like it, and that wireless convenience.. gold. ????
To be fair, it'd be good to see you review this amp again but with a bit of settings adjustment using the app to do it justice.
I'm sorry but you keep saying if I was in the app it might sound better get in the app bro it obviously sounds better this is not a black star this is a modular practice amp practice amp why am I telling you this?
come on, it doesn't sound that bad for what you are paying for…
This is the type of consumer advice that we need more of.
this actually have a phone app u can tweak more options, even the mic simulation xD
I'm actually a big Cube fan, but the Nux Mighty 20 Mk II was really impressive, for 158 euros including Bluetooth adapter. The clean sounds are good. I'd be interested to hear what you think of it.
do you hear any delay in sound with this wireless amp?
Yeah, I guess I better stay away from this then ????
Without the App usage is useless, like a review that doesnt feature the app. Sorry you wasted your time.
The NUX Mighty Air is complete crap. I've had it for a couple of years and it has intermittent connection issues with the jam tracks. Is it just that I was unlucky because I happened to get a faulty unit? If so, I was unlucky three times in a row. The one I have now is the third one, after two exchanges. So, three out of three turned out to be complete crap, for me.
There is nux mighty lite BT mk II , you shoud test it
Golden hands!
I bought one and LOVED it. I used it for about a two hours when I got it and then when I got back from work the next day (after the wireless sender had been plugged in) I tried using it and it died after 5 minutes.
Left it charging again and it would die in less than 5 minutes.
I had to return it.
I will say this though; I liked it so much that had guitar center (????) had offered to replace it instead of just refunding it, I would have gotten another.
You should try the new Nux mighty lite 2
Have you tried the Joyo Jam buddy? $70, not bad for just around the house.
I don't think this is a great review.
The app is critical to get a decent sound. Once you've used it once you can save the sounds and you don't need to use it again.
There was also a massive firmware update that completely upgraded the sound so worth checking that.
If you aren't using the app, you aren't reviewing the amp
I understand it's just a little practice amp, but still – any sound setting is like a fart in a kazoo. No thanks, I'll save my money for something better.
The app makes it better at this price for practicing.
Thanks Elmo. Great honest revue as usual.
