  • Had the pleasure of meeting Tony twice over the last 3 years. An incredibly talented and nice person. So intelligent too!

  • At the beginning of 1996 when I had been playing guitar for less than a year and at the cost of introducing myself to the wonderful world of bass guitar, I thought of purchasing a Chapman stick instead. Apparently, none of the people who talked me out of it knew of Tony Levin, and – neither did I. In February 1996 when I bought a bass guitar for the first time, had I’ve been aware of Tony and what he’s done with his stick, I would’ve been all over that sucker myself.

  • I have been putting this off because I don't want to buy any new pedals right now. Dang. Love this board

  • Back in 1996, when I was deliberating getting my first electric bass, I had also deliberated on instead getting a Chapman Stick. My band leader at the time talked me out of it. If I was conscious of Tony here that far back, I might have ignored the band leader and gone with the Stick instead.

  • Very interesting! Loved learning more. Though…perhaps i am alone and with all due sincere and humble admiration….perhaps next time Mr. Levin and Sweetwater could demo of the rig instead of describing for audience conceptualization, if time permits? Not trying to troll! Just want to hear that bass, if possible next time? ???????? ????❤️
