More like they are made like complete * * * *.
They would be interesting if there was one that didn’t have tuning stability like it was built in the middle of fucking no where.
As an owner of a used $250 omen I support this post ????????
Jesus loves you so much God bless you spread the gospel John 3:6-36 Romans 5:8!
9-strings can absolutely work, but you need at least 30 inches of scale at the bottom plus a super thick string to make that low C# stiff enough for tremoloing. Also, if you get a multiscale, you can forget about something like 25,5'' on the high E, 27'' is the best you're getting. Not a huge problem, but something worth noting down.
8-strings are optimal though, since you don't have to make any compromises with them. Great for fanned frets (25,5''-28'' for example is sweet), don't need super thick strings, intonation and stiffness are nice. Probably the pinnacle of serious electric guitar design
Yeaaaaaah they kinda have to be multiscale if you don't want super tense high strings and floppy low strings. These Ibanez ones in particular aren't that great. 28" isn't enough for a low C#.
Imagine trying to play barre chords on that thing
Bands like emmure prove this to be a myth ????????????I can't wait to get one.
How to get this tone man????
I bought that exact guitar today, from Derringers ????
The lowest id ever go with a guitar is D1 (which is what my 8 string is currently tuned to) which is fun as fuck. Anything lower is pretty inaudible though, as anyone with a piano knows
Me over here playing exclusively 9 string guitar….
That’s your post!?? No wayyyy!! 9 strings are cool af. Thall me baby.
Why not just release a guitar with the top 3 strings?
7 string plus 5 string bass is a perfect match (whole octave still reserved). What's the bass gonna play now?
This 9 strings guitar are amazing ???? for Tex/ Mex & Norteño style it's a pity just barely no famous Mexican group uses it. It can be used as a good heavy metal player ,RB or many more if knows how to… Very excellent ???? only thing is to play all ???? notes after third string and up for Tex Mex obviously in different frets
Yeah you're literally playing a bass dropped to C#.
Play a 10 string because yes.
Imagine: Youre going about your day, and you get that urge, that absolute itch. You want to absolutely BWURR BWURR. You know you have a 9 string. You have played Doom Eternal. Its time.
Talent, imagination and ability replaced by yet more strings? No thanks????
And then there's thall where they can tune to literal infrasound and make it sound good
6 is plenty 7 is OK. You don't need super thick strings to sound heavy.
nice to see aidin Ross having hobbies
Said the guy that was scared to go lower.????????
Djenting
That tone is so crisp thooo
I have a 12 string…????
they make a 24 string guitar
Anything over 6 is nuts to me! I'm a folk/Americans/bluegrass player though haha Maybe I'd dig it if I played metal, but I save the metal to just enjoy listening too haha ????
there is no limit
"9 strings Guitar are too much"
Ample Sound: Hold my vst
laughs in large hands
theorbo players: am I a joke to you?
Jaco only needed 4
Laughs in stevie t
Just buy à bass
Just get a bassist
7 strings
8 is optimal, my problem with a 9 is that a 4 string bass has less low notes than that thing
may we have a five strings?
I don't even like 7 or 8 strings, 6 is perfect and i am a metal player i just have different guitars for different shit, like i got a fixed bridge Ibenez RG with chunky as fuck strings i think 13's maybe 14's with a fair bit of material filed out of the nut and its my open tuned guitar, usually stays tuned at CGCFAD for all the fun chunky shit!!!
But each to their own i suppose.
For people that want a bass and rhythm/lead all in one!!????????????
Fredrik Thordendal and Marten Hagström would like to know your current location
