Tune down to D standard/drop C, buy a Whammy DT, tune up OR down. Problems solved.

So I have 2 questions if anybody could answer from experience. I have the Whammy DT and when I use it I find there is Treble loss. First question is there Treble loss with this pedal? Second question is there any difference between the drop settings on the Whammy and the settings on DigiTech Drop?

How you guys who use Drop deal with the treble and gain cut? The more you low the pitch the more the tone get muddy. I still haven't menaged this colateral well…

Does anyone know a good pitch shifter that lets you also up-tune? I remember my old ZOOM G9.2tt was able to do that. I'm in love with my baritone and would like to pitch shift tune it up without breaking the neck
