Ide rather have something that not only sounds good to me but feels good to me. That being said, not everyone likes the chunky feel of some les Pauls, but they like the sound. So personally I'd pick what shape you like and swap out the electronics to whatever sound you like
I’d say a Strat with a humbucker in the bridge and able to split is the ultimate guitar that can create pretty much any tone and have a very unique flare to them.
Hahahaha ???????? The new Bc rich Shredzilla extreme prophecy 7 is definitely the best right now. It's practically cheating. It's butter. This list is ten years ago.
Apparently, the worst guitar ever made was the Gibson Les Paul as it had too much inbuilt Sustain! But when the "British Blues Boom" happened in the 1960, it was the sound guitarists were after! (that's Clapton playing one on "Have You Heard" on the Bluesbreakers 'Beano' album, 90% of Jimmy Page, all Peter Green and early Jeff Beck!) Plus, someone in the 80s said that to play Hard Rock, you needed to run a "Gibson Les Paul through a Hundred Watt stack Marshall"! ????????
Actually, ever sense Eddy, I think it has been Super-Strats #1, Single cuts #2, V's #3, Destroyer type #4, SG's ? #5… Brand not so important, Humbucker in the bridge and let'r rip, its Metal.
I would shown the hello kitty Fender instead of Yngwie. We all know thats the ultimate shred metal machine
Dean ????
#1) CHARVEL
Kirk Whammet ????????????
Ibanez for me all the way. ????
Anyone giving a fuck about tone will go with the Gibson
Nobody is talking about how he flipped us off when he said number one
You are the ‘Muhahaha’ guy to me
Where the fuck are schecter guitars ?
dean
I have a Schecter ????
Are we still living in the 1970s? A guitar brand war ending in a Gibson victory is stupid in 2025.
Jackson hands down, way too many iconic guitarists played Jackson’s for the answer to not be that
PRS all day
I feel like ESP, Solar and Jackson is probably the best in general for metal.
Schecter…..hello???? Where schecter at and bc rich and how is Jackson not at 1.
I know they’re made by Fender, but Charvel. Kramer and EVH are good too.

I love Ibanez
To all the Jackson fans out there, what makes them any better than Ibanez?
Imo Ibanez

The best for me is Schecter
Unpopular opinion: Fender are the best you just need to swap the pickups

Dean

Charvel

What a clown
I love my Jackson, but anything with a humbucker and 24 frets should do
Lame
Wow this guy is trying waaaaay too hard to hide it. Dude it's obvious.
