  • The thing with B.C Rich tho is that they were good guitars with nice quality, then they just flopped and tried to make everything entry level, only thing is tho, the quality of those entry level guitars are horrible compared to other brands.

  • I have a BC Rich NJ DLX from 2008, 2009. Its actually super badass and I love it. But the bc rich at guitar center nowadays are very cheap feeling and there quality control is garbage. In my opinion. If you can find a oldie that feels good then your set but I would never buy one without testing it first

  • i had a few even one with speedloader strings honestly they sucked i mean im not good at guitar keep needing to sell my gear to help my mom through out the years she passed last year so i dont got much of anything anymore i only had one really good one and it was a warlock from earlie 90 the rest did not stay tuned and just did not have good dressed frets

  • A while back, I removed the paint job off a 90s Warlock bass. It revealed many laminates of dark and light wood, mahogany and something else. I questioned that. Too many glue layers and how that might block sonic resonance vertically. (Nevermind how polyurethane deadens wood sonics). Years later, I did see they moved to single wood bolt-ons for the cheaper line at ~900-1200 range. How is a multi-laminate production cheaper, time and planing? Makes me wonder about other brands using paint to cover up a nightmare. You have to buy Rich custom shop. I wanted the Rich Wave design

  • I have a Beast and I think it's my favourite in my collection. It plays so damn good, sounds immaculate, and you wouldn't think but its super comfy to play. Perfect for classical position. At about 1/3rd the price of the majority of my other guitars. Ranging from Schecters to Fenders to Ormsby. Theyre all great in their own way of course, but something about that $700(CAD) pawn shop find B. C. Rich Beast!

  • As an amateur /unprofessional/garage band musician… I love my bc rich warlock bronze series. I must add my cheapest guitar is a rare Epiphone strat and my most expensive one is $200 hollow body guitar "canvas" brand. When I first got the warlock, it was a gift from my brother in law. I loved it instantly, the action was very very low, you could play chords with one hand with your pinky, it played beautifully clean as well as distorted. It's a very nicely playable guitar, better than the Pacificas I've tried or the cheap squiers

  • I've got a B.C. Rich Mockingbird Exotic Classic and its awesome. Feels amazing to play, sounds beastly and looks so cool with the through neck and natural colour. The mid-high range Rich models are generally pretty well built. I had an Ironbird with the strat style trem when I was 12, I felt so METAL

  • You really got to get your hands on a 70's B.C. Rich just to try one. I prefer the Eagles myself. More of a normal shape. The play ability is awesome. The one you played is ok but it is not the real deal. There is a reason they are popular with us old dudes back in the day. Cheers.

  • I just bought a Korean mockingbird for 300 bucks that the pickups had been replaced and pots has been upgraded and it's a very solid guitar and sounds incredible can't complain but everything was replaced ????????

  • I haven't known anyone who singled out BC Rich as poor or distasteful. I have a Warlock and a Bich 6/12 doubleneck and I love them both. Especially the Bich. They're both late 80's old. I also have an Ibanez 7 string S and a Gretsch Broadkaster among other guitars and basses and those two, plus the Bich are absolutely great guitars. About the only thing I've known over the years is that you can either have a US made one or a Japanese made one. They're not the same. And they cost and play like they aren't the same too.

  • The used prices these days are fucking ridiculous, especially for the guitars that are damaged, still graded ”good” (wtf) the asking price is insane. Seems like people have lost their minds.

  • I used to own a Korean Warlock. I regret selling it to this day. I don’t even remember what I sold or traded it for, but I remember that guitar. It played great, sounded great, and weighed a ton lol I’d buy another one

  • I had a $250 Warlock when I was in high school. It was my bass players and I bought it from him when he got a matching Warlock bass. For whatever reason, that guitar played like butter and sounded amazing for heavy metal. Great tone with the Metal Zone ???????? That makes me laugh but it's true! My buddy got the action set flawlessly low and still to this day I don't know how he did it because I have yet to play a Warlock that plays or sounds like that one did. At least not the cheap ones.

  • My first electric guitar was BC Rich and it was bad ass, but if I’m being honest I have no clue of if it’s because it was really cool looking or it sounded good. It was 30 years ago and not sure I’ve even seen one since

  • I wouldn't be surprised if the seller was the sole owner. Immaculate care from purchase to shipping. Also, that finish is absolutely stunning.

  • This video would have probably been a lot easier to shoot if you weren't so concerned about minor dings on the horns…
