  • Question, so your main board is being run through output 1 or output 2 from your MBFR?

  • I get that a lot work went into the course and that there's a lot of valuable information in there. But $700 is a bit mad

  • Thanks for the insights, super cool. How would you run swells if you weren’t using a volume pedal? I’m trying to do ambient swells for church without using a volume pedal in my rig.

  • Hey David!

I recently got the daily driver boost 2 in 1 pedal, and I'm struggling to dial in volume from the pedal, what I mean by that is when dial the gain up to get more drive, the pedal just gets so much louder like ear damaging loud, so when i back the volume off because of how loud the pedal is with more drive, reducing the volume cause the pedal to lose its umph in terms of drive and gain.

I think the 2 in 1's circut has been changed, and I'm unhappy with it, kinda wish I just got the normal daily driver tbh.

  • Might have to contribute to the tone factor fund after watching this so he can buy some more cooler stuff. You’re an inspiration man! Your sound ideas and playing styles are cool to follow/learn from. I can’t afford a Schaffer tower but that sounds cool like a wash of overdrive. Very creative! Thank you @ David Hislop ! I like those weird/different sounds you’re going after!

  • I can hear how much of a professional you are just by the way your guitar is set up and stays in tune through out.

  • Great vid guys, you got my sub… incredible gear, there is sooo much. I only have 1 partscaster and a pignose amp.???? I need more.

  • So it's hard to tell listening with headphones… but when live, how much volume increase do you run with gain staging? OR do you let the FOH control your leads? I setup gain stages for natural volume increases that match the intensity of the drummer, but digital modelers (which we're forced to use) can't handle it as well

  • Really enjoyed this. I have the BigSky and Timeline but never thought I needed the Mobius but oh how wrong I was. It will soon be on my board!

  • Hey mate, any suggestions on a overdrive replacement for the Tower? To stack with DD for third stage?

  • I’m so thankful for this video. I was able to sell my Kilt V1 for a fairly absurd amount of money two days ago.????????

  • In keeping my goal of a smaller pedalboard. I use the Retro Reel effect for that slight modulated fatter tone. By increasing the wow/flutter setting you get that nice modulated tone. I leave it on almost all the time.

  • So i bought the DMC 4 v2… how do you get it to switch between batches? I can literally only get it to run through every channel but i love the way you did a batch

  • Wanting to dive all in on my board like this is so temping but then I realize I’m just a volunteer at church lol

  • Have you ever tried the radial dragster when you run wireless for loading the pickups?

  • Awesome video as always, David!

Hope you can dive deeper on your strat and how you manage to play live. Im also using a strat and cant manage to use the 1-3-5 pickup positions as the hum makes it unplayable esp when using a heavier drive.

  • Is this guy a Christian or he just a recording artist for them. I never see him on stage at their bethel church? Not sure how they do things.

  • loved the video! there does seem to be a strange digital sound at 20:53. does the daily driver always do this?
