SIMPLE FUN WAY // To Play Blues Rock Lead Guitar
We make improvising harder than it has to be!!! We can play blues rock lead guitar just by locating the root note of the first chord. Mixing the major and minor pentatonic sound is really simple. The blues rock style almost always mixes the major and minor pentatonic scales. Playing a blues guitar solo has never been so easy!!! Here is a link to this great backing track.Have fun with it! https://youtu.be/4cs1NwbZp2w.

Great video Sir. Thank you.
Rusty you are a guitar Master!
I just bought a bass and have never played one before but I tried this with my new bass and my friends say I sound like I've been playing for years
Thank you, man. For your wisdom.
despite is simply as f*ck i've never realised this, so from the bottom of my amp, thank you
Note it only works if the progression is major. If it is minor, you cannot play major. The underlying chords matter. Notes are not major or minor. He is just playing scales. Learn them. Major 7 note and Major 5 note shape (all 5 of them.) 5 note Minor Penta is a good start….all 5 shapes (same shapes as major so it's easy.)
How do you get that tone? What settings? Sounds like john fogerty's tone

Your awesome…
This guy is too cold, I can see this brother in the band , like a hard rock ,blues, with a funk base band just gettin off, all he needs is the right musicians to play with or to get behind him along with a powerhouse drummer who's got that foot
Root note is always the clue to understanding the composition .. there are 1000s of hours just fingering the fret board and then 1000s of hours learning and applying music theory to the practical .. I hate it when I see “ guitar is easy , just do this “ . Those are very clean notes , no scraping .. slow perfect practice sessions practicing technique and that vibrato , beautiful imitation of BBKing .
Good video
All you need is a guitar , amp and looper pedal !
Love this
Tasty
I am 65 and at 57 I became paralyzed from waist down. My journey has had alot of potholes. I think you can get me blues induced. But what's up with them dots. Not 3 5 7 9 11 exc.
What’s a root note
Why do you call minor and major?
