Why isnt the reverb button a hold down to switch to channel and tap is to turn it on or off. Weird

I don’t know why you guys say it’s plug and play. The set up is much more challenging and I’ve only got mine to work once. Now it’s a glorified paper weight.
Is there any way I can play backing tracks through this so I can play along with my headphones on.

Does it work in Katana 50 MK3?
I you already own an amp, just buy the Boss GT-100. It's got WAY more functionality than the Katana. Did I mention its got WAY more functionality than the Katana? And that's ALL version of the Katana, all the way up to the new "Gen 3".

The problem is Airstep Kat needs the hardwired USB port on the back of the Boss Katana Mk2 EX amp as well as the Ulooper so you cannot run both the Airstep Kat and Ulooper with the same amp. There is no Bluetooth connection capability to the amp, which is the reason.

so, can you download the demo patches in the Librarian into the Katana amp channel to use or are they just examples for you to hear?

How do I connect my katana to my MacBook if I have the airstep kat plugged into my usb port on the amp? Is there some kind of adapter to have it connected to my PC as well?

Two things about this…
– Being able to change the individual effect using the footswitch is absolutely a game changer. Can't do that with a GA-FC. But some kind of indication of which effect you are using… the LED on the Airstep changing to the same color as the LED on the amp… would be very nice.
– Can the footswitches be programmed with any effects we want to group together or are we stuck switch 1 being the booster group, switch 2 being the Mod group, switch 3 being the FX group, etc.? I don't use any of the distortions or overdrives in my Katana. It would be great if I could set switch 1 up to be say, either pedal volume or pedal wah. Can we do that or would I have one switch I can't use because it has nothing but boosters in it? I already have that issue with my GA-FC.

I have the original Xsonic Airstep. Just wondering if it’s possible to program it to behave exactly like the Airstep Kat, with my Katana Mkii 100 head?
I played in bands in the 70’s and 80’s . I pugged in my guitar, to my wah a fuzz and maybe as time went onanother pedal or two, into my Marshall half stack. I rarely played after college when working and raising a family. Now many years later I’ve started playing again and I must say, I picked up this Kantana 50MK2 since there were so many good things said about it. I gotta say I’m pulling my hair out because all this stuff is so damn confusing. I’m not stupid by any means, it just so frustrating..I even bought the Boss FS6 pedal, and I’m about to sale everything’s I’ve got and say to hell with it…I guess I wasn’t cut out for all this tech stuff even though my degree is in electronics…I’m so confused and you make it look so easy….! Thanks….
im curious. does the fx mode toggle the different effects for whatever particular channel youre using. say I have a custom specific tone i like in channel A1, will the fx mode just work to toggle the different effects from that preset?
Hi Dave! I have just received mine. I ordered another Acoustic guitar, on a budget. Fender CD-SCE Mahogany in order to take advantage of the amp. I also ordered the Boss RC-1 loop station. (again on a budget) I am still working on bends, but want to get the Loop pedal so I can learn lead and record the rhythm at the same time. (At my tempo)

hi thanks for the content. I have problem with my AIRSTEP KAT. When I plug in to my Katana 50 Mk2 using the original cable, I switch On th amp, switch On the Airsteps, the light letter 'I' is not on. I have check the manual asking to restart the amp, but still doesn't works. I have fully charge the AIRSTEP to green. Please advice, thanks

Unfortunately, this will no longer work the Katana 50 watt Gen 3 but I reached out to Xsonic and they are working on that.
The Airstep doesn't connect on my 100 Gen 3. Not blue "I" shows up when connected. It works fine on my old 50MKII. I really wish they solve that with a firmware upgrade soon, otherwise I'll have to buy the GA-FC EX instead.
Hmm? The fragile USB connection/cable makes me think it's not durable enough to use in live settings. Maybe it's good enough for the bedroom.
Hi Sir. Just wondering on how to save if you’re on Booster mode? Every time I choose my 3 patches on a booster the green light, when I unplugged or disconnect to Bluetooth the patch that I choose will change it maybe because wasn’t save. Do you know how to save? Please advise. Thank you so much

How does one bypass the usb connection? I would need a 20 ft cable to connect to the amp on a large stage. In addition to that, my extra effects pedals connect by 1/4 in cable – which mean that 2 connections are going to the amp.
Any chance you know if this works with the katana bass amps?
