  • the "Storm Blue" and "Inferno Burst" ???????????????? (it's just an orange burst fellas…. you gotta love those names!!! hehe) are my favorite and yes, for the money, it really sounds like a cool deal…. funny that they somehow decided to go for a more PAF-like output for what clearly is a rock/hard rock/metal leaning guitar, and funnier still that they somehow managed to miss hooking up the coil splitting switch…. maybe there are some PAF-obssesed fellas out there who always dreamed of having that sound on a shreddy guitar, but I for one don't know anyone like that, from what I've seen they tend to travel in different lanes for the most part but hey, if that's you, then you'll just need to take care of the coil splitting issue and you'll be good to go…. I'll definitely have to check those videos for those pickups and see what the fuzz is all about, cool video dude!

  • Great review. Because of this , I bought the same Guitar. And I love this Guitar. I even bought the pick ups like you recomended and just received them today, but I have not installed them yet. I’m waiting for locking tuners that I’m gonna put on also. I did want to mention something that I found really cool. Is that all of the fret dots or markers on the sides and on the face of the fret board all absorb light if you shine a flashlight at all of them then go into a dark area and they all light up blue and they look really cool. Didn’t know if you knew that but for anybody who is reading this and has this Guitar try it, it’s really awesome!! just shine a flashlight at each one for like a minute back-and-forth. Then turn off the lights and enjoy!!!
you can actually play in the dark or on a dark stage. Thanks again for the review.????

  • How does this guitar compares to the Fesley FLP350 model? Better or worse? Differences?

  • just like the Firefly guitars: not available outside the USA, so unfortunately I get nothing from this review but a very bad mood 😉

  • Sounded great! Very shreddable as your Royal Baldness just proved (great playing btw), I usually go for vintage output bridges myself so I love it. Thanks for the demo Richard!

  • I’m digging the as is sound. It’ll be fun to hear before and after with a higher output pick up to see what it actually does for the tone.

  • What’s with the delay on the popcaster video? It seems weird that a smaller YouTuber stumbled upon one on Amazon and bought it and did a review before it made its rounds on the sponsored review circuit. I know videos take time. I just think it’s odd and I think I want one.

  • Did someone ever check if these are actual humbuckers and not some noiseless wound singlecoils? ????
Would explain why the push-pull isn't wired.
I've seen fake humbuckers in other cheap guitars before…

  • If you want to try some supremo pickups try Dylan Talks Tone. Excellent HB's and the world's best P90's. Worth every $!!!

  • Looks like a great guitar for the money Richard, but i was wondering as i know you love the JB pickup in the bridge of your guitars but have you ever tried the GFS Fat Pat set as from my understanding they are supposed to be based on a 59/JB set for much cheaper

  • That guitar has BRASS frets on it. They use brass frets. AND they RAISED THEIR PRICE lol, foh

If they're saying they don't, then they started lying after I pointed it out on sixstringstranger's review the other day after acknowledging the inferior quality brass is and their choice to 'save money' but the thing is… it's like a buck less per volume for them to get brass compared to nickel. I looked up the industry prices today and in their area converting it. They're not saving money…

They're trying to do what the smart phone industry does and create something nice and cheap that breaks easy to create continued purchases to supply the budget they're working with. Samsung has done it for years with their prepayed phone options.

This company starting to look more sus every review I see. My buddy and I were losing it laughing at how they're like "yes it is the most inferior, but squires and others have used this on their guitars" yeah, and they stopped, because people returned and didn't want them lol Like how do you see other company's failures and go "i bet if we do the same shit it'll be fine" lol

The cost of the knob remover would cover proper fret alloy for the guitar. That's the real kicker.

  • Do You still have Your Donner DST 700? Thinking of upgrading or grabbing a Charvel DK24 mahogany.

  • Thank you so much for putting together such a detailed and thoughtful review — you really did a fantastic job walking through the guitar and pointing out the finer details. ???? We truly appreciate the time and effort you put into sharing this with the community.

To clarify, the push/pull coil-split was intentionally left as a DIY option in the earliest production runs. Our initial market research showed that some players preferred the guitar without this feature, while others enjoyed the idea of having it as a customizable option. Since the wiring is very straightforward — just reconnecting two pre-routed wires under the back plate — we thought it might also add a fun, hands-on element for those who enjoy tinkering.

That said, we’ve since received a lot of valuable feedback from players like yourself who would rather have it fully functional straight out of the box. We completely understand that perspective, especially for students and players who simply want to plug in and play. Based on this feedback, all upcoming LP batches will now come pre-wired from the factory, so the coil-split is ready to use right away.

We’ll also be adding a clear DIY guide to our product listing for anyone who still wants to experiment or learn how the wiring works. Your input has been incredibly helpful in pushing us to make this improvement, and we’re very grateful for the way you explained it in your video. Feedback like yours makes a real difference for us and for the players who trust our instruments. ????✨

  • The pickups sounded good in the high gain channel, but the clean tones were kind of flat sounding

  • DANG Mine was 8.81lbs..interesting the weight difference between the 2..Great Video Richard

  • It’s hard to tell if the pickups are good or not when you’re playing the guitar. Because they all sound good. Keep shredding shredder.

  • There is NOTHING wrong with that guitar!! The only issue is the coil split not being wired. It's a great deal if you want a guitar to modify but you can play the snot out of it as is. Why do some folks just want to complain? Good job as always Mr. Shredder!!

  • Nope. All of my BEST guitars, including my Gibsons, have set necks.
Failure #2: No separate volume and tone control for each pickup.
If you want an inexpensive "Les Paul," buy a Firefly.

  • Love it .. companies charge waaaaay to much ..sick of seeing 1500, 2100, 3000, and 4000 plus guitars

  • It's amazing how these companies can pump out these guitars that are made pretty damn good for the price. I've never heard of this brand until now , nice demo again ✌️????
