AMAZING Guitar Pedal (Does More Than ANYTHING I’ve Tried)
Get it here: https://www.thomann.de/intl/thlpg_frmmcjn2tt.html
Today it’s a guitar pedal that in just over a week has done more for me than any other piece of guitar gear has. And I’m not exaggerating. I’ve written a whole album’s worth of material in just over a week with this. It truly is spectacular. I hope you enjoy!

Check out something similar to the acoustic stuff in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUDGX4OYFgU
I know it’s early but I know what I want for Christmas Elmo. Awesome piece of kit. Elmo your a pretty awesome guitar player mate. Thanks again for another great vid.
I own the old blue one, it's a great pedal. If you're looking for Strymon or boutique quality then look somewhere else. If you want a very versatile delay reverb pedal, OM is one of the best choices and it's really fun to play with and easy (intuitive) to use. Only the Zoom MS70 cdr is comparable to this (and has way many more effects on board) but tweaking is complicated due to the small size of the pedal.
That’s some fine playing Elmo. ????
Sounds great Buddy ????
Wow, so many knobs, I'm old, most of my pedals have 2 knobs sometimes 3???? I love all this new tech and the amazing results for relatively little cost but getting my head around them is a brain ache, I'm still trying to get around my last purchase, a Boss Katana MK1 head that you have to connect to Tone studio to get the best out of it and I've had that for years. I bet it comes with a downloadable manual of 200 pages???? The sixties/seventies guitarists had it so much simpler and we still try to replicate their sounds???? Great video Elmo.
I have wanted to ask, is that a scooped fretboard on your stratocaster?
Valeton 200LT
Sweet soundz.
Can we power it throught the usb-c port? Cheers
I always enjoy your reviews – look forward to your content ????
All I can say is wow! That is some beautiful acoustic playing, Elmo! I can't wait to hear the album when it's finished. That pedal sounds incredible! Outside of a solid overdrive, reverb and delay are my go to as far as pedals. I don't use much else outside of chorus occasionally and that little beast sounds killer. Love Devin Townsend too. I'm glad he had Mooer make his signature, and not some of the bigger players. Makes his signature pedal more budget friendly for his fans. Great video, loved seeing your enthusiasm ????
Nice playing
That was awesome' and Great Playing also' Thank you!????????
Thx, I’ve wished for years that you’d drop the metal for two seconds while reviewing electrics, and play something melodic, preferably over a loop. As for this ambient stuff, it’s fun: I grabbed my acoustic and Behringer DR600 and plugged into my old Boss mini with its built-in delay, and …. It’s a gas! Gotta be careful, though: I note ambient music tends to be most attractive to the least talented????
So you reviewed the first edition of this pedal 7 years ago. What is different about the first version and this one ?
Love the shirt.
I'm a proud owner of a Framus Teambuilt Stormbender autographed by Devin.
It's absolutely amazing.
Cheers
Before you revealed the pedal, I was already thinking Ocean Machine.
????
Really like your enthusiasm and artistry, and the way you present this, and that you also give some love to the acoustic guitar. 🙂 Most demos ignore that altogether when it comes to guitar pedals like this. That said, whilst the ambient sounds you demoed are brilliant, I wasn't impressed by the so-called spring or the room (in fact, I didn't hear that much of a difference). Maybe I'm just spoiled by the pedal I consider (so far) to be superior to the Mooer: the new(ish) Hotone Verbera. Amazing, and the footprint is much more pedalboard-friendly.
It is very unusual to get a piece of gear that truly inspires whole albums worth of music- I'm glad you got to experience that and that you were able to record it and share it with everyone. This is some of the best playing I've heard from you- very expressive and emotive, lots of space- I love music with lots of space in it. Can't wait to play around with this myself, but it will be a while, I just started home recording and still have to learn my DAW and get my basic setup worked out. I've got a very small work space, but I can make as much noise as I want, I'm very isolated.
Btw, Elmo, what about the Line 6 DL4MkII that seems to do all of what this pedal can do plus more? It costs a bit more, but it might provide even more inspiration for the number of tones you end up getting for just a bit more money.
Maybe there’s a pedal comparison video in your future . . . ? ????????????????????????
It’s a nice pedal — really great to see you excited about a piece of gear that got you writing music!
I love seeing you play an acoustic guitar! I wish you’d do acoustic stuff more often!
Elmo, I have watched your videos for several years and I dont think I can remember you getting this excited over anything really. Maybe I should check one out. You are far more talented than your YouTube status would indicate. I should get on my bike and seek out and purchase some of your music. I live a continent away. If you ever make it to Western Canada, I sure hope I'm aware of it because I would definitely put a lot of effort into coming to see you play somewhere live. I wish you all the success in the world. Cheers, Doug P.
EURO GUYS SEEM TO ALL LOVE CATS????????????
Elmo! You should really try the New Valeton GP-5 Multi-Effects Mini pedal with Amp modeling (NAM) and IR loader. And for only $80 U.S. it's the best I've ever bought and I've went through 100's and this little thing is all one could ask for. Check one out!
Ethereal. I believe that's a word and might just describe the sound on acoustic guitar. I only have one pedal, some might say it's overrated(the…RAT), but if I'd be a better guitar player this would be the only other pedal I would have. Kinda does it all. As always, time very pleasantly spent watching your videos. Thank you!
Good day to you sir, you've found your grail 🙂
Wow! Elmo can play slowly!
The demonstration Devin Townsend did for this pedal sounded awful. At least your demonstration gave this pedal some credibility.
I got a used acoustic guitar for a good price. Now I need to buy a sound hole pickup. I know which one I want. It should work well with effects pedals. Acoustic guitars do sound good with reverb and delay effects.
bro casually mentions that he's dropping an album ????
Ambient Elmo! I like it. ????✌️
Beautiful! More acoustic please
Elmo like Pat Metheny 😉
That's a killer verb delay.. it reminds me of the Keeley halo but does a lot more..
Thank you, Elmo. That was a perfect example of why, when, where, and how a guitarist gets inspired by their equipment, which becomes part of the thinking and inspiration for the musical palette. My Zoom G-11 gives me similar results though more expensive and a relatively larger footprint. On the other hand, the G-11 has its own built in GUI that's hard to beat. I'll definitely look into it. For the pros and cons of each.
This is probably my favourite so far among all the videos of yours I’ve watched. The combination of your enthusiasm for the creative effect of the pedal, your focus here on your own music, and the quiet excellence of your acoustic playing makes the whole thing special. Many thanks and congratulations on the song-burst. ????
It takes quite a product to get Elmo positive as he demonstrated in this video. It's got to be the real thing. Good video.
Very cool.. I am craving an Eventide H9. Or a couple to play with.. I am not sure if I will get that or one of the others.. The one's that have more memory to save presets.. Eventide rocks.. Their Micropitch is genius. One can get that Steve Vai Crossroads or EVH tone with the micropitch.. Anyway, great video my friend.. I hope you're well and I hope you're still writing a lot and playing out.. I'm not able to at the tender age of 64 because of health. So, I'm going to buy another amp and just play out from time to time with friends where we just jam. It's so much fun. We have a club that used to be an American boys club which is a huge building and we took over a huge room and have a small PA and everyone just plays and takes turns rocking.. It's a blast!
God speed sir..
Tim
YEAH! That acoustic guitar piece is glorious. I dig your videos quite a lot…. Fantastic stuff Elmo.
Have you compared this to a Source Audio Collider? If so, I'm curious if it is better. It is obviously less cost but also a larger footprint on a pedalboard.
Elmo have you tried the M-vave mini universe about £25-30. Highly inspirational reverb pedal and you get some really way out sounds with it. Thank you for the video and it looks/sounds good.
Superb pedal Elmo.
Well worth it.????????❤️
Awesome Playing with WAH effects. Really awesome bravoooooo
Very nice to hear your original music! ❤
